Anastasiya woke up with a gasp, she had just watched Damon confess his feelings for Elena with a necklace so he could make her forget all about it.

Ana was devastated, there wasn't a chance Damon and her could maybe try to renew their relationship if he was in love with Elena.

God! Sometimes she hated her stupid visions, ugh! Now she couldn't get the thought of Damon loving someone else out of her head and that someone else was another doppelgänger!

Anastasiya got up from bed and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water, she passed by Dean's bedroom and opened the door just slightly, she saw that he was still sleeping and closed the door again and continued her way to the kitchen.
The house was dark since it was the early hours, quiet that's all an heard. Quiet.
Ana grabbed a glass from the cupboards and opened the tap to fill her cup up, and as she turned around she jumped at the sight of Damon sitting on a chair by the table.

"Damon?! What are you doing here?" Ana questioned as she set her glass on the counter top, as she faced Damon who just stared at her.

"I wanted to see you." Damon told her, as if he hadn't just confessed his love for the doppelgänger.

"It's late, Damon." Anastasiya told him softly making him nod as he stood from the chair.

"I know, I just had to see you." Damon told her as he took a step towards her, why did Damon have to see her so late? Wasn't he just over at Elena's house?

"Why did you have to see me so late?" Anastasiya muttered softly as Damon stopped in front of her.

"I wanted to apologize about earlier, you lost your uncle. Which I don't get, since you said you didn't have any other family, that you only had your father." Damon told her as his voice was slightly raised.

Ana did told Damon and Stefan that she only had her father, because well the rest of her family was daggered or dead, her father and her only had Elijah but they weren't in good terms.

"My father and uncle were estranged." Anastasiya told him as she picked up her glass of water and took a sip.

They stared at each other for a little while longer, as Damon glanced at Anastasiya's lips, and Ana noticed.

"At the masquerade. When you were saying all those things about Caroline...it felt as if you, yourself had experience. Do you?" Damon asked with the softest tone Ana had heard him use for the first time since she got into Mystic Falls.

Anastasiya stared at Damon as tears welled up in her eyes as she went back to her childhood. All the times she watched Mikael beat her father because Klaus was such a "disappointment" or any other awful insults. Ana always tried to stand up for her father but it would result in her own punishment, a punishment so awful that a young 7 year should not go through that.

Klaus of course didn't know because Anastasiya was so afraid of what Mikael would've done if she told anyone. Mikael had made Anastasiya fear men. Sometimes her father and uncles would catch her flinching away from them and they would make their own assumptions, What Ana didn't know was that her own father had figured it out the night he murdered his own mother.
