As Damon and Rose made their way to Slater to get more information about Klaus and his daughter, Elena was finding out about what Klaus wanted from her doppelgänger.

Katherine might've let it slip that Anastasiya knew more than she was letting on to believe.

"You killed yourself?!" Elena exclaimed as Katherine finished telling Elena her story to transitioning.

"Klaus and his daughter needed a human doppelgänger. As a vampire, I was no longer any use to them." Katherine tells her making Elena frown

"But it didn't work. You didn't really escape, you've been running from Klaus ever since." Elena tells Katherine making her sigh as she drank her cup of blood.

"I underestimated his spirit for vengeance but living in a suitcase is better than dying so you can have your blood spilled over some silly little rock." Katherine tells her looking at Elena with some sympathy before it went away.

After Katherine had offer Elena her blood to turn her, and Elena declining, Elena asked about Klaus's daughter.

"Do you Klaus's daughters name?" Elena asked making Katherine smirk.

"Alek." Katherine tells her making Elena frown, she had heard that name before from Stefan when he was talking about Anastasiya but it could be a coincidence.

"You should ask Anastasiya." Katherine tells her leaving Elena shocked, why did Ana have to do with all this Klaus stuff.

As if seeing Elena's confused face, Katherine elaborated for her.

"Uncle Elijah? Ring any bells?" Katherine questioned making Elena have a look of realization.

"Elijah, was an original and if he's related to Anastasiya...." Elena starts to piece it together as she trails off making Katherine nod.

"Elijah was an original, so what if his precious niece is one too?" Katherine questioned making Elena look up at her with fear in her eyes.

"Anastasiya is Klaus's daughter." Elena muttered making Katherine smirk, Katherine didn't want to betray her old friend again but she did need the Scooby Gang to see through Ana's lies.

Maybe Katherine has a ticket out of this stupid cave.

"And you're sure Elijah's dead?" Slater asked the Salvatore vampire and Rose-Marie.

"Beyond dead." Damon tells him with a smirk.

"Trevor was a good man; he helped me with my dissertation on sexual deviance in the Baroque period. I was schooling for my Psych PhD." Slater tells them making Rose softly smile at the thought of her best friend.

"Slater's been in college since '74." Rose tells Damon making him nod.

"When I was turned. I have 18 degrees, 3 master's and 4 PhDs." Slater tells them making Damon sigh.

"The point?" Damon asked with wide eyes, he came here to learn about Klaus not how many years Slater was in school for.

"Exactly, I mean, what is the point? What should I be doing with my eternity? If you have an answer, please enlighten me." Slater asked Damon with annoyance in his tone

"We need your help. If someone wanted to get in touch with Klaus, how would you hook him up?" Rose asked knowing that Ana could just get them a direct line with him but the Salvatores didn't know that.

"Craigslist." Slater says seriously making Damon look at him with disbelief.

"Really?" Damon asked sarcastically
