I don't know who he thinks he is being nice to me and then being rude to me the next minute.
I was tired of waiting for Asad to show me that he actually cared about me in some twisted way. I was kind of craving some sort of love sign from him, even if it is something simple like calling me and asking me if I've ate yet I would be over the moon.
Yet I Knew I was asking for too much and I had no choice but to stay in this horrible marriage, if you could even call it that. I was being forced and no one was realizing it.
If I could grab those photos somehow I would be free from this handsome devil...
"Why are you always zoning out?" Sabha said to me while rudely eating my chips that I bought. I grabbed my chips from her "Did you pay for those?" She rolled her eyes and slumped down on the bench we were sitting on staring at the kids playing at the playground.
"I want one." She said smiling, if anyone heard or saw her right now they would think she was a kidnapper. "Get married first." I said in between bites. Her smile wiped of her face "Who would want to marry me?" She said Sadly.
Sabha had a talent of talking Ill about herself. She was amazing at everything and when I say everything I mean everything.
Being South Asian isn't easy. It's hard to impress our parents so it's not entirely Sabha's fault because there were times where her parents would tell her that she wasn't doing enough.
"Sabha you are amazing at everything, I'm sure there is someone out there who wants to be with you." She sighed and looked at everything besides me.
I raised an eyebrow "Are you hiding something from me?" I could tell when people's mood changes and Sabha's mood entirely just switched right now.
"Uh... no." One other thing you should know about Sabha Ali is that she is a horrible liar. "Sabha tell me right now."
She groaned at my bossiness "It's just that I think I have someone in mind." she said shyly. I stared at her in shock, ever since I had met her she had always shyed away from guys and had never told any of us about her crushes.
"Whoa what? Actually?" I felt like she was toying with me but when she nodded I knew she was being serious. "Spill, who is it?" She looked at me all serious and said "Don't tell Soojin okay?"
I nodded but I was wondering why she didn't want me to tell Soojin. "I'm in love with... Her brother." My eyes widened and I started laughing. After laughing for a good 10 minutes I looked at Sabha and she looked offended.
"You can't be serious Sabha, your in love with Nadeem?" Nadeem was... a interesting guy to say the least. He was really weird and was incredibly rude. Rabia and I hated him and we have told Soojin but she just shrugged it off and agreed with us not thinking much about it.
"Rayyana he's actually really sweet he helped my mom one day with groceries." I scoffed "Of course he helped your mom, he need's to show everyone he's a gentleman doesn't he?" I really didn't like the sound of Sabha and Nadeem together for some reason.
It just didn't click. "Are you sure you want Nadeem as your husband?" It wasn't just his personality that was horrible, it was his looks as well. Now dont get me wrong, I dont judge based on looks. But there was no doubt that Nadeem was not handsome.
He had passed the age of puberty years ago but it does not look like it in ANY way. "Whatever floats your boat I guess." I mumbled eating my chips. I was shocked, I never imagined Sabha's crush to be someone so... weird looking.
My phone rang indicating someone was calling me, I checked and groaned when I realized it was my aunt who was calling me.
I turned to Sabha and shushed her "Gee Phupho." I said in to the phone wiping my hands on my shirt.
