Rayyana's POV
Sabha was acting weird ever since the party yesterday. I had asked her multiple times what's wrong but she wasn't telling me. I just eventually guessed that it was because of Nadeem who for some reason wanted to join us on our shopping trip.
Asad and Amir were following closely behind us, Asad actually had a meeting but he cancelled for some reason, I know it's not for me but I don't know why he did it. Nadeem was getting kind of close to Sabha and every time he would try Amir would always bud in and stop them.
I dont know why but Rabia and Soojin found nothing strange about that. After Amir bud again for the 500th time I knew I had to ask one of them.
I turned to look at Asad who had a knowing look and I instantly knew that he was part of this. It was killing me and I don't really like to be kept in the dark.
Me, the girls, and the guys all head into a shop and us girls immediately go around looking for clothes to try on. I was looking at some dresses that cover you from head to toe when I hear Amir's voice saying "You would look amazing in this Jaan."
Jaan? Who did he say that too?
I look around for Soojin and Rabia to see if they hear Amir, but they were too busy swooning over some guys.
I roll my eyes around and I see who Amir is talking too, but when I look he's sitting beside Asad. I raised an eyebrow is he flirting with Asad?
I shake my head and look at Sabha who's face is red.
Bingo!
I quickly grab a random dress and watch as Sabha picks up a shirt practically running to the dressing rooms. She asks someone behind the counter for a room and quickly goes into it.
I ask the women for the one beside her and get in myself. "Psst Sabha." It's quiet before "Rayyana?" I can just Imagine Sabha looking around for me.
"Yeah, it's me. I'm in the next stall, open your door." I come out from my stall and go into Sabha's who's sitting there on this little bench.
"Okay Sabha what is going on? I know there's something going on between you and Amir." Sabha looked up at me in shock and then down to the floor. She started sniffling and I saw down beside her and she started telling me her story.
I nodded along and hugged Sabha at the end of her story. "That jerk, wait till I blow his head off!" Sabha chuckled beside me "No Rayyana, I think I... I mean... I liked Amir a long time ago and.... I don't know..." She trailed off.
"Don't tell me Sabha that you like him." She nodded as I groaned at her.
Sabha's POV
I didn't tell Rayyana about the fact that I had to pull a lot of strings to get here, about how my dad left and my family and I have practically no money.
I was contemplating marrying him. I mean, Nadeem is still here isn't he? I bit my lip and shook my head.
I was lost.
Rayyana and I talked some more about how Amir was a jerk face and then we left the dressing rooms.
"There you two are, where were you?" Rabia asked us, me and Rayyana pointed to our dress and shirt we had taken out but never tried on. "Oh, are you getting them?" Soojin asked us, me and Rayyana lightly chuckled and said no at the same time.
We put the shirt and dress away and left the store to go to the food court.
"Okay, I have to go to the bathroom how about you guys save a seat." Rabia said going from one foot to the next. "I have to go as well." Rayyana said and Soojin nodded saying she had to go as well. Figures, they all had slushies before coming here.
