Chapter 3

The bell rang and lunch was over in a breeze. The trio took their plates and threw them into the garbage bin. Jisoo looks over at Jennie and notices that the latter still hasn’t calmed down yet. She sighs and walks over to the brunette,

“Do you want to go to the infirmary?” Although Jennie tends to flirt just as much as she breathes (Chaeyoung being the only target), the girl makes sure that she doesn’t take it too far. Jisoo knows that Jennie’s anxious about the blonde not talking to her anymore, and that’s the last thing she wants for this precious mandu.

Jennie shakes her head and pumped her fist in the air, startling the two from her sudden movement. “It can’t be helped, and it’s not like she’ll notice it since Chaeyoung’s kind of dense. I mean the girl’s clueless to anything I do anyway…" Jennie mutters to herself, nodding and agreeing to her somewhat okay logic.

Lisa snorts just beside Jisoo. “She’s this whipped huh?”

“Well, it’s not like you can talk too Lisa,” Jisoo smirks. The tall blonde purses her lips,

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

The shorter shrugs. “Nothing you need to know.”

Lisa scratches her head and looks confuzzled by what her girlfriend just said. She hummed, dismissing the topic. “Sure, whatever floats your boat.”

They then went back to their classroom, the brunette being reluctant along the way.

After thousands of excuses to make herself feel better, Jennie finally got her courage to step inside the classroom where her favorite person is. She struggles a bit with opening the door, the couple tailing behind her in amusement, Jennie slides it open at last and comes face to face with the person she most likely wanted to see right now but also not who she wanted to meet at the moment given the current situation.

Park Chaeyoung was just about to open the door only to find the brunette she'd been waiting for. She froze, staring nonchalantly.

"Oh, Jennie, where have—"

"Oh, crap."

Though Jennie was smitten from the blonde’s eyes staring shamelessly at her, she was afraid to make the other uncomfortable like earlier, so with great force from the urge to cling closer to Chaeyoung, Jennie headed directly to her seat.

Swiftly walking past the blonde, Jennie kept her eyes on the ground. Having witnessed the scene unfold in her eyes, Chaeyoung stood stunned.

Did Jennie just ignore her?

Isn't that almost impossible?

Getting cocky are we Chaeyoung?

Jennie took her seat by the door. She discreetly glanced back at Chaeyoung who was standing by the door. The brunette wanted to ask what was wrong but refrained from doing so. The blonde looked like a lost puppy and Jennie gave it her all not to come up to Chaeyoung and tease her about it.

Class started as usual. The teacher lectured about the lesson in her same monotone voice as the student took it as an invitation to succumb to a never-ending relaxation.

Habitually, the lazy blonde would be staring off in the air, falling into her deep slumber because that was what she always does or rather that's what she's best at and known for. But something was bothering her. Like an itch, it wouldn't stop pestering her mind.

She's stuck, replaying the scene from earlier over and over again as if a recorder, the blonde couldn't just take her mind off of it and had let it playback every time. The brunette walking past her like that rubbed her the wrong way. A twist in her stomach that made her unable to make out what was wrong with her.
