Chapter 5
(The past)
The start of sophomore year. Jennie strolled along the hallways looking for her designated class. Every head turned in her direction simply implying that she's a goddess that had come down the earth to bless the people in her presence. Sadly, the brunette was not aware of her looks sweeping people off their feet. She only ever focused on the task she's been given. That is if she could find her class, cause it felt like she's been going in circles around this side of the building.
A-1 is the room number she's been looking for. She'd been informed by her childhood friends that they were gonna be in the same class yet again. Although those two crackheads can be labeled as professional clowns, it wasn't any surprise to Jennie that they didn't let goofing around affect their grades. The three of them all have straight A's every now and then.
"Is this the room?" Jennie paused, she glanced at the number above the door. A-1 it reads. She blew a relieved sigh and slid the door open.
However, as soon as she was within an inch away from stepping inside the classroom, the whole class flooded to her like bees mating with their virgin queen. She was bombarded with foreign faces directly invading her personal space.
"It's Jennie Kim!!"
"Oh my gosh, it is her!!"
"She's more beautiful in person!"
"Is she in our class?!"
"Queen step on me!!!"
The comments made her uncomfortable in the worst possible way and didn't help to have all these people around her, making it impossible for her to get to her seat.
Jennie knew that for some sort of reason, students made a fan club for her at school. As weird as that was to her, she didn't mind the attention. But she never acknowledged that it would turn into this big of a mess.
Whoever started that fan club needed to have a talk with Jennie in privacy and let them know that she's not happy with this. Rumors have spread and now everybody thinks she's with royalty. When in fact it's not true at all.
Yes, she admits that her family has money for days but that doesn't mean she gets to brag about it and make it seem like she's on top. The last thing the brunette wanted to be was a good for nothing rich kid.
To Jennie's dismay, the crowd surrounding her got bigger from students yelling her name, and so the curious onlookers were joining the already massive people piling up near the door.
She became anxious when they started to bump into each other. "Please, calm down. I don't want anybody getting hurt. I just want to get to my seat." She desperately shouts over the crowd.
It scared the brunette at the number of people wanting to get near her most absurdly. There wasn't a need to shout or be all up in her business if they had just wanted to talk to her, she would've easily communicated with them.
Goodness, someone please help me.
And as if someone answered her prayers, a blonde girl about two inches taller than her popped out from the crowd closing around her. Jennie had thought that the girl might be some sort of a fan and wanted to probably talk to her. But she noticed that the blonde seemed taken back looking at her. Like, she was an alien in her eyes.
Does this girl not know me?
Jennie didn't appear to be convinced from her thought, but with this chaos caving her in, she truly was a damsel in distress and needs a knight and shining armor to come to her rescue.
