Chapter 14 My Fault

(Red's POV)

After I took my shower, I met up with Julian in his office

Now I was sitting infront of Julian, Winter, Oliver, and Lenny

The only one missing was Karen and she would be back any second

The 5 of us, just sat in silence

I sat at the edge of my seat, so that I wouldn't touch my back against the chair

"Red, why don't you go lay down" Winter said, trying to confert me

"I'm okay" I said to him

His eyes got watery

I got up and walked over to him

"I'm fine" I told him, wrappin my arms around his shoulders

"I'm so sorry, I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't let me" he cried

"I understand, I'm not mad. I'm not mad at anyone. This is completely my fault" I told them

"Your right, this is your fault" Karen growled, appearing at the door

Julian quickly got up and stood infront of me, protectively

Karen took a step forward, but Julian growled

Karen stopped to look at him

"Not another step" Julian said

"She poisned you" Karen shouted

"No, I didn't, just please let me explain" I begged her

I was Julian's mate and the true Luna, but right now....Karen was his wife and the mother of the children Julian raised

I owed her respect

At least for now

"I don't want you to explain anything, I want you killed" she told me

At that, Julian, Lenny, Winter, and Oliver all growled

"What the hell is wrong with you? She tried to kill your alpha, your father!" She growled

Before she could say another word, she exploded into a fit of coughing

"Please, Karen all you have to do is hear me out" I told her

She growled when I stepped around Julian to face her

Julian quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me behind me

I knew he was trying to protect me, but if he kept on protecting me

Karen would see it as a threat towards her

Her whole family was taking my side and it wasn't fare to her

I squeezed Julian's hand and then let it go

"Karen, I'm not hear to hurt your family. I left my pack, not because my family rejected me-" I started

"You said that your family kicked you out" she interrupted

"I lied-" I said

Karen growled

"Please" I said to her, putting up my hands

"Why did you leave then?" Lenny asked

"Because of dad" I told her

Lenny's eyes got wider

"What about dad?" She asked me

"Do you remember when we were little and dad would take us out to his secret tower?" I asked her
