Chapter 23 Yes Possible

(Red's POV)

The next day, Julian and I woke up early in the morning

Niether of us had anyway of transportation

"Wait here, I'll be back soon" Julian told me, once we were on the side of the main road, that led to the pack house

"Wait, where are you going?" I asked him

"I'm going to meet Chris, just a few miles down the road. He is going to give me some money and one of my cars" he told me, walking back from the few feet he had previously walked

"But, isn't that risky? What if someone sees you?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his waist

Julian chuckled, lightly grabbing my face and making me look up at him

"Don't worry, I'll be right back. I won't even be more than 5 minutes...promise" he smiled, caressing my cheek softly

I closed my eyes and sighed

"Alright" I told him, taking in his scent

Again, Julian chuckled, making his chest rumble as I held onto him

"If you want me to leave, you have to let go of me" he smiled, still having his arms around my shoulders

I groaned, slowly letting go of his fit body

"I'll be right back" he told me and kissed my cheek, going down to lick my mark

I moaned and felt him let go of me

Even after he was gone and I could no longer see him, I could feel the tingling sensation, of his touch on my skin

The sun was shining over me, warming my freckled skin

'Babe?' I heard something in my head

"What the hell?" I said out loud

'Red, it's okay' the voice chuckled a familiar sound

"Julian?" I asked

'Yeah' he once again chuckled

I went around in circles, trying to see if he was anywhere near me, but he wasn't

"How are you doing this?" I asked, looking up at the sky

'It's called being mindlinked. People who have mated can do it. I just wanted to let you know that I am....here for you' he said, zooming down the mane road in a black jeep

I smiled, hopping into his car and closing the door behind me

Instantly, I was met with a souls wrenching kiss

"I missed you" he whispered against my lips

"Not as much as I missed you" I told him

"Not possible" Julian, put the car in drive

"Yes possible" I said as he drove off, leaving the pack house and everyone in it, behind us

As I looked in the rear view mirror, I was positive that I had seen a small body, standing my a big hill in the distance

"Julian!" I yelled, pointing behind me

He turned his head so quickly, that any other human, would have snapped their neck in two

When I turned to look at what I myself was pointing at, I realized that there was no one their

"Are you alright?" He asked, turning back to look at me

I nodded my head and looked back at thto empty space, where the person stood

"Yeah, everything is fine" I apologized, shaking my head "must be the nerves"

But I knew it wasn't

There was someone standing there...I knew there was

I wasn't crazy...there was someone there and I though I knew exactly who is was
