Chapter 8 Dream

(Red's POV)

I was sitting on my bed, looking down at my phone

How did you find me?

How did he know Julian and I were mated

How?

"Knock, knock, knock" I heard someone knocking on my door

"Come in" I said

"Ella" I heard, an angelic voice ask

Julian's head popped in smiling

"Are you busy?" he asked me

I shook my head

"I want to talk to you" he said

"About?" I asked, as he walked deeper into my bedroom

"Us" he said to me

He was going to do it, he was going to reject me

"You don't have to, I understand. You're married and you love her" I said to him

"No, that's not what I was going to say. Karen and I have been-" he started, but my phone started ringing again

My heart stopped

Could it be him?

How?

"Are you going to get that?" Julian asked, looking into my eyes

I took a deep breath and headed towards my phone

"Hello?" I asked, hearing my own voice, I realized, how small and scared I sounded

I looked up to my mate

His eyebrows were frowned and he had stiffend

I knew he was listening in on my conversation

"Hello?" I asked again

"Ella, get ready" I heard my sisters voice

"Lenny" I sighed

"Yeah, who did you think it was?" she asked, chuckling

"No, no one. Why?" I asked her

"Oh, tomorrow is the alpha's birthday and you need a dress, that will make every man at that party drool over you" she said, with a giggle

I heard my mate growl, lowly

His eyes had turned at dark red and he started shaking

"Umm, okay, I'll be down in a little. Give me 15 minutes" I said and hung up the phone

"You're not going anywhere" he said to me "especially to get a dress that is provoking" he growled

I couldn't help but smile

"You're very funny" I said to him and turned around

"Why is that?" he asked

"Because you actually think that I'm going to do as you say. You're my mate, not my owner, and to make this all the more amusing, you're married with two boys" I chuckled, which soon turned to anger

"No, there not my children" he yelled, trying to get me to stop pacing

"Don't lie" I told him

"I'm not, they aren't my children. Winter and Oliver are the sons of Karen and her real mate, Joshua" he told me

"But they have alpha heat" I said to him

"Yes, because they've become acostumed to being around me. It's something physiological. They've been told that they are alphas so many times in their life that their mind and body actually started believing it." He said to me

"And Karen?" I asked him

"It was an arranged marrage. Her family didn't want to be disgraced by their daughter and my father and hers were really good friends. My after called it a.....favor" he said

"So you aren't..." I said

"No, we aren't in love. At least I'm not, I never really fell in love with her, but I won't lie and say that I don't love her" he told me, sitting down on my bed

"So you're saying that you love her, but you're not in love with her?" I asked

He smiled and nodded

"I see" I said

We both sat in silence, waiting for one another to say something

"Well, what do we do?" I asked him

"I don't know, but we need to tell them" he told me

I nodded my head

"Just not yet" I said to him

He looked up to meet my eyes with his and nodded his head

What do I do?

Should I tell him to leave or give him a hug?

"Uh, I should go" he said to me

He stood up and I was no longer looking down at him, but up

"I'm happy I fowned you" he told him

I smiled and nodded my head

"I'm happy I found you too" I said

He chuckled and started walking away from my bed

"Wait" I called out to him

He stopped walking and turned to look at me

I walked up to my bed and got up on it

I was now too tall, so I leaned down and kissed his cheek lightly

"Thank you" I smiled at him

"For what?" he asked, smiling

I shrugged my shoulders and jumped off my bed

He chuckled again and nodded

"Go get a dress, but don't let it be to provoking" he said to me "you're mine" he told me and playing with the tip of my hair

I smiled and nodded

"Go, you're sister is waiting for you" he told me, kissed my cheek, and then was gone

Could this really be happening?

Could my dream finally be comeing true?

I doubt it, with my luck, nothing ever goes right
