Chapter 2 Brothers

(Red's POV)

I woke up in a comfy bed, surrounded by white fluffy pillows

I didn't want to get up, but I hadn't met anyone and I didn't want to seem rude

Slowly, I mustered up all the straigth I had and  got out of bed, walked into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and put on a pair of sweatpants over my shorts

Once I was done, I opened my front door and stuck my head outside the door, looking up and down the hallway

'Damn it, I wish I would have asked Lenny for a tour before I'd gone to sleep' I said to myself

Not knowing where I was going, I headed out. I roamed around, walking up and down the halls. I realized that the walls were covered in pictures

Pictures of many kids and many smiling men and woman 

I was assuming that they were kids from the pack, all surrounding the same woman, who ware a perfect flawless smile on her perfect flawless face

They all looked so happy and carefree. Something I had never been familiar with

I smiled at the thought of me, finding my mate and maybe having kids of our own kids. Kids that didn't have to worry about being kept safe in the middle of the night, kids that could go out into the woods and not have to worry about what was creeping behind the trees 

Not now of course, I'm only 19 and I didn't want kids yet. Of course I wanted them at one point in my life...just not now. They were beautiful and a blessing, but I just wasn't ready and didn't have enough experience yet

"Urgh" I groaned, falling back on my ass

I looked up and realized that I had bumped into a tall man, with light brown eyes and dark brown hair. He stood above me, with wide eyes and his mouth, slightly open

"I am so sorry" he said, holding up his phone, to show me why he had bumped into me "Are you alright?" he asked, reaching out for my hand 

"Yeah" I chuckled, looking up at him with a smile 

He looked down at his hand and waited for me to take it 

"Thanks" I said, as my face slowly heated up

"You must be Ella" he said to me, looking into my eyes 

I nodded my head 

"And you are?" I asked him

he chuckled and lightly slapped his forehead 

"Winter, my name is Winter" he said to me, shaking my hand 

"It's really nice to meet you winter 

He smiled at me and nodded

He was adorable

Winter was wearing sweatpants and had on an old white shirt, which was covered in what I thought was red and green paint

"So Winter, would you mind helping me find my sister?" I asked him, looking around the empty hallways

"Oh! Of course, sorry" he smiled, a smile far too big for his face 

He turned around started walking. When I didn't follow, he turned back around and took my hand in him "Come on" 

I jumped a little when he touched me, but did as he said

We walked further down the hall and then took a right and then left and then another left. I didn't remember walking so much, when I first came in, but i just silently followed him
