Chapter 15 To Be...

(Red's POV)

If Karen didn't hate then, now she surely did

This is went right

It wasn't meant be to like this

"Dad!" Winter and Oliver said, both shocked

"That's my final decision" Julian said, sternly and then walked out of the room, holding his shoulder

He left us in silence and tension so hard, that anyone could cut it with a knife

"I'll be right back" I mummbled and walked out of the room

I followed my mates scent, up to a room. I had never been in

I knocked once. but he didn't answer

I just opened the door and walked into a dark and cold room

"Julian?" I asked, walking deeper into the room

He was standing with his back to me. His hands were resting on his desk, looking down

"Julian" I asked again

I walked deeper into his office and closer to him

I closed the door behind me and made my way towards him

His breathing was calm and his heart rate was slow

Slowly, I rested my hand in his shoulder, but he stiffened

Without warning, he turns around and grabbed me tightly

His nostrils were flaring and his eyes were dark

"Mine" he growled, angrily

"I know" I whispered

"Mine" he growled loudly, pressing my body tightly against his

"Julian, I am, I'm only yours. But right now, it's not safe. Not for me and definitely not for you" I told him, resting my hand on his face

I caressed his cheek with my thumb

"Mine" he said softly, resting his head on my neck

He bent down to cuddled up to me

"Julian, I'm your mate, but Karen is your mate. You have to give her, her place. now that I am here, you can just start treating her differently" I said, rubbing my hand over his back

"But she is not the Luna, you are. It's pretty clear that my pack members, will start feeling drawn to you. The pups will want to come to you, when they are hurt, or sad. It's your job to make him feel better. You will be like your second mother. The older children will want to come to you for advice, and the adults will respect you." he told me

"Maybe, but for now, none of them know me" I said

"That is why we have to tell them. It is why we have to tell everyone" Julian pulled away

"Please, not yet" I begged

"Why not? What are you afraid of?" He asked me

"The moment....that the man that I love will be killed, because of some stupid arrangement that my father has with his pack members" I growled, getting irritated

"Love?" He asked

I looked up at him

"You love me?" He asked

"Is that really all you got, from what I just said?" I asked him

He smiled widely and nodded

Underneath his thick and heavy beard, I could see small dimples form

"Your perfect" I whispered, slowly tracing my fingers over his eyebrows, then down to his nose, over his top lip, then to his beard, running my thumb over his bottom lip

"No luv, your perfect" his Irish accent, making everything sound sexier

I closed my eyes, and listen to his breathing

"Julian, please, just wait a little longer" I asked

"Just a little bit?" He asked

I nodded my head, placing my had over his chest

"Okay" he gave in

I smiled and thanked him

I looked up into his blue eyes and couldn't help myself

I leaned in on my tippy toes, and placed his lips on mine

His beard tickled my face, but I absolutely loved it

His long and strong arms, curled around my body, pressing me harder against him

The world around me disappeared, and it was just Julian and I

What would it be like, to not have to hide?

To be openly together?

To be able Luna and Alpha?

To be fully and completely happy?

To be together?

To be in love?

I couldn't wait to find out
