Eddie Pov
I sit in the car, wondering what to do. It would be weird if I went back in there. But what if I don't? What if I never see him again? Well, I already thought I didn't have a soulmate, so it wouldn't be too hard to get over, but it wouldn't be fair to him. I rest my head on the steering wheel. I'm careful not to press too hard so I don't honk it. After much deliberation, I chose to go in. I take a deep breath and then head back in, carrying my coffee. My eyes scan for the guy. Then I spot him and the colors come back. I smile and my heart flutters. He must sense someone is looking at him because he looks up. He blinks a few times and a smile spread across his face. He looks back down though, a blush spreading across his face. I stand there for a few more seconds before I realize that I shouldn't just stand there and stare at him. I slowly walk over to him, the people around us oblivious to the fact that we just found our soulmates.
"Uh, hey," I say.
"Hi," he looks up at me. My colors seem even more brighter now I'm so close to him. "It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you as well. I'm Eddie," I say.
"I'm Gaege," he says.
"You're hot," I say accidentally.
"W-what?" He looks surprised.
"S-sorry. It just slipped out," I say.
"You really think so?" Gaege asks.
"Yeah. With your floppy hair and tattoos," I say.
"Am I a good soulmate then?" Gaege asks.
"Yeah," I say.
"You are too. Hot and a good soulmate," he says.
"Thanks," I say. "I didn't think I had anyone."
"Me neither. It's nice to know that there is someone for me," he says.
"Yeah it is nice to know," I say. We just look at each other and smile happily knowing that we truly have someone.
