Dominic's POV
———
When I left Vera's room last night I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep. Shame and regret filled me before we even finished, horniness too but that just added to the shame. I tried to lay beside Kara and pretend that I hadn't just let her little sister roam my body with her hands in return for letting me kiss and bite her thighs. God...when she bit me...I swear I left bruises.
After a few sleepless minutes, I got up and went into my office. I worked on some layout drafts and material lists, but still, I felt hollow and cold.
A part of me was completely fine with what happened. The same part of me that wasn't upset with Kara when she cheated on me. That part also used Kara's infidelity as an excuse for last night. She cheated on me...it would be hypocritical of her to get mad at me for what I had done. I knew that part was plain and simply incorrect. It was her sister, her little sister at that. A fucking minor!
I had known her and Maddy talked about me like that, mostly Maddy. Since I met that girl she's been trying to get in my pants. But I never knew how much Vera was into me...I never really wanted to acknowledge anything like that.
"Where did you sleep last night? I woke up and you weren't there." Kara leaned against the door of my office, outside I could hear the water running in Vera's bathroom. Immediately my mind went in the wrong direction.
"I didn't sleep," I stated flatly, shuffling a pile of papers and setting them aside. "Insomnia or something, I don't know. I just caught up on some work instead." That part was wrong, I have never struggled to sleep a day in my life. With the exception of last night.
"Oh...well the girls want to go for brunch. I would ask if you wanna come but Vera didn't look so well when I talked to her and I don't really want her home alone." Something inside me broke. I knew that whatever was up with Vera was my doing. Part of me was angry too, which made me want to ask Kara why she can't stay home to look after her sister. But I just shrugged and nodded.
"Isn't it a little early for brunch?" I asked instead, turning back to my desk and idly flipping open a notebook.
"We're meeting a little further away than usual, and there will obviously be shopping." She explained as if I should have already known the ins and outs of "brunch with the girls".
"Mhm...you can take my card if you want, I don't plan on going anywhere." That was the part of me that felt guilty, not only to Vera but Kara too.
"Thanks, honey, I'll see you guys this afternoon." I just nodded and let her kiss me on my cheek, oddly enough that felt more like cheating than last night did. Just like calling her babe last night felt so wrong to do in front of Vera.
———
"Hey...Uhm I made breakfast. Do you maybe wanna come downstairs and eat?" I lightly knocked on Vera's door, not opening it but just talking through it.
"I'm not hungry...but thanks for the offer." I heard her say from the other side. I knew breakfast was her weak spot and that she is in fact hungry.
"Please, V." I added, unsure of what I should even call her. I liked the way her name felt in my mouth, I like how she felt in my mouth, I'm just not sure how she feels.
"What did you make?" I could already see where this was going. I would tell her what I made and then she would just say she wasn't in the mood for it.
"Come down and see?" I answered, cracking open the door and peeking in. She was sitting on the floor where I laid last night, knees to her chest and a notebook beside her with a pen.
"You're not going to leave me alone are you?" She asked softly, looking up at me with golden eyes.
"No..." I sighed, "probably not."
She stood up, closing the notebook and tossing it onto her desk before stepping out into the hall in front of me. My eyes raked over her body. With the rolled waisted band of her sweatpants that loosely hung from her hips, I could see the straps of her underwear riding on her hips. The t-shirt she wore was one Kara gave her, she never told her that it was one of mine. Vera had cropped it, the ends fraying almost as much as the color was faded.
"I can't tell if you are checking me out or having a stroke." She laughed, lightly punching me in the chest while shaking her head.
"I'm not sure either." I breathed out, marveling how she was so okay with the situation.
When we entered the kitchen she sat down at the island, looking over the large amount of food I had made.
"Is this an apology?" She asked, looking up at me.
"What?" I asked, confused as to what she was referring to. She lazily motioned to the food, still awaiting an answer. "No...well kinda." I breathed out, scratching the back of my neck and averting my eyes away from hers. "It's more of a reminder that we can forget...last night and go back to normal."
"Normal being us hating each other?" She laughed while shaking her head. "Dominic...this won't go back to normal no matter how hard we try to make them. There's no possible way for this to not end badly. So let's just roll with it until things turn bad." She shrugged and reached across the counter to casually eat a piece of bacon.
"You...you want to go further? Vera, I thought last night was it...you said it was it. I can get in a lot of trouble from this...not just with Kara." I was amazed by how calm she was about this, how effortless this subject was for her.
"We live in Maine, correct?" She asked very matter of factly. I nodded. "You can look it up, the legal age of consent is sixteen." She stated, smirking a little while trying to hide it with her chewing.
"Vera..." I sighed and leaned against the counter. "You have all the answers don't you..."
"Look, Dominic, clearly we both are missing something, and clearly we both have what the other wants. Like I said last night, skin, that's all I want. It won't be that hard to sneak around, it'll be fun. Entertain me please." She turned herself towards me, biting her lip and looking up at me through thick eyelashes.
"It'll be fun..." I repeated while shaking my head. "Let's eat breakfast, you dork."

VERA'S POV
——
It was hard being so confident, I knew acting mature would be my only in with Dominic. I had to make it look like this whole thing wasn't driving me crazy, but it was and on the inside, I was freaking out.
Dominic had placed plates of food in front of both of us, still smiling and trying to hide it. He's the dork...the charming smile and the faded band t-shirt...god he's kissable.
"You're staring, Vera." He mumbled while dumping syrup all over his plate. I scrunched my nose and took a bite of my plain waffle with cinnamon sugar. "Don't judge me and my syrup...it's almost as annoying as the staring." He grumbled lightly still wearing the same smile.
"Syrup is gross, Dominic," I replied, rolling my eyes.
"Eye-rolling, Vera. And syrup is the glue that holds all breakfast foods together." I almost began to roll my eyes but caught myself. "And I would like to remind you that you haven't eaten syrup since before you guys moved in. You should taste it and see if your taste buds changed."
"I'll taste it..." I stated with a grin. He immediately held out a fork holding a syrupy piece of waffle. "But only if is from your mouth," I added with a smirk.
"Your ridiculous, Vera." He chuckled.
"Kiss me, Dominic." I smiled and lead forward, showing him I was serious.
He rolled his eyes and leaned forward, his lips almost touching mine. I felt his breath on my skin and knew I was blushing.
"You probably have bacon breath..." he whispered while not moving away.
"Guess you'll have to find out," I replied. I smiled before sticking out the tip of my tongue and licking a small line up his lips.
A low groan came from his chest before he pushed his lips into mine, biting my bottom lip gently before pushing further. His tongue dove into my mouth and I let him control the dynamic of the kiss. He had control.
We spent a few long moments like this before he pulled away, breathing heavily. A pouty expression formed on my face and he again rolled his eyes.
"My back hurts, Vera, I was the one bending over the whole counter." He laughed and shook his head. I watched him lick his lips, his smile growing even bigger. "Meaning that if you want to continue we have to do it somewhere comfier."
I pulled him upstairs into his office, gently pushing him down on the loveseat across from his desk. I climbed on top of his lap, straddling him. I was the one that connected our lips this time, following his lead still. His hands landed on my hips while mine raked through his hair. Through the heat of the kiss, I rocked my body against his, his hands pulling me down onto him creating more friction.
He groaned into the kiss, I replied with a moan. I pulled away and began kissing his neck. I nipped him a little, he gently pushed me back, looking up at me with glassy blue eyes.
"You can't leave marks on me, Vera." He breathed out heavily.
"But you can leave them on me..." I replied. "Make me yours, Dominic." I moaned out, still rocking my hips. He attacked my neck with kisses. I could feel the bruises in progress.
———
Our make-out session had lasted almost half an hour, after that, it turned into small pecks and contagious laughter about stupid things we would say.
"If anyone here is a dork it's you," I whispered with my head resting on Dominic's lap while my legs were draped over the armrest of the love seat.
"The only difference between us is that I read the books!" He exasperated while his hand rubbed small circles on my waist. "Which were so much better than the movies." He added.
"So what are you?" I asked, cupping the side of his face in my hand, rubbing my fingers through his hair.
"My house?" He asked and I returned with a nod. "Guess."
"If I had just met you I would say Gryffindor, but since I've lived with you for almost four years now I'm pretty sure you're a Hufflepuff," I explained, a grin on my lips and my hand lazily resting on his shoulder.
"Well...I took it twice, the first time I was a Slytherin, the second time I was a Ravenclaw." I lolled my head back, thinking about his response.
"When did you take them?" I asked continuing my interrogation.
"The first one was before I met your sister, the second time was just a few weeks ago." His one hand sat by my head, smoothing my hair off my forehead, his other sat on my hip, rubbing circles over my pants.
"Makes sense...you used to be very...Slytherin-ish. Snappy and egotistical, you were very centered around your image and how people saw you." I mumbled, looking away for a moment. "But now you let people appreciate your skills and personality, you still flaunt your intelligence though...but that's okay."
"And what are you, Vera?" He asked with a mocking tone.
"I'm a Gryffindor. Just your average golden retriever." I laughed out. Moving one of my hands to play with the hem of his shirt.
"You're far from a golden retriever. You go after what you want...clearly." I rolled my eyes and playfully poked his stomach. Wow...under the dad bod facade he was pretty rock solid.
We kept up with the idle chit-chat for a few more minutes. It was Sunday so neither of us had much to do.
"Vera! Dearest Sister!" The front door slammed closed and both Dominic had frozen, we were mid-make-out initiation. My half-brother, Blaine yelled through the house, clearly unexpected and in that moment...unwanted.
"Off off off." Dominic hissed, pulling me off of him and standing up. With me sitting on the couch and him standing, I was face to face with the taunt bulge in his worn jeans. "Dammit." He breathed out, looking down at it and then at me. He roughly pushed his black hair back with his hand, turning towards the slightly ajar door. "Go fix that while I take care of this." His hand motioned towards his crotch.
A pout formed on my lips and stayed sitting, the slight urge to rebel against Dominic for his own gain filled me. He must have caught on because an and used smirk played on his lips.
"Believe me, baby, I would gladly let you take care of this but later, okay?" He lifted my chin and planted a slow kiss on my lips before leaving me for his bedroom.
———
"Blaine..." I drew out as I walked into the kitchen where he was waiting. I had yelled down a few minutes ago that I would be down.
"Baby sis..." he mocked with a lazy and almost intoxicated grin.
"What did I do that earned me a visit from my elusive brother?" He rolled his eyes and sat down at the booth-style breakfast nook across from the kitchen.
"I missed you guys. And Kara has been on my ass about spending more time with you. Something about father figure bull shit." He shook his head chuckling. "I mean, you have Dominic, you don't need me to step in and show you how to throw a football or grill burgers."
"Dominic is definitely not a father figure, I'm done with the whole 'dad' thing." I laughed slightly as I grabbed two bottles of water from the fridge, tossing one towards him like a football.
"Well...in that case, do you want to still hang out but do something incredibly stupid and irresponsible?" He turned towards me with one of those way-to-proud-because-I'm-up-to-no-good smiles.
"If you tell me what it is the answer with probably be yes." I sat across from him, pausing for a moment to listen to any sounds coming from upstairs. The shower was running, he's taking a cold shower.
"One of my friends is throwing a party. It's our beer pong championship celebration. And you're really good at beer pong." His voice got quieter, and he was leaning over the table to me like he was sharing state secrets.
"Oh my god!" I cried out laughing. "You're recruiting me to your beer pong team?! Because you suck right? God, I hope it feels good to know a sixteen-year-old is better at beer pong than you...a twenty-two-year-old." His face dropped, I was laughing my ass off across from him.
"I didn't ask for the slander! Are you coming with or not?!" He snapped not amused anymore. I rolled my eyes and shrugged.
"Yeah...I'll come. When are we leaving?"
"Not until eight."
———
"So he's just gonna wait here?" Dominic whispered in my room as I looked through my closet.
"Yeah, the dinner reservations aren't until eight-thirty. I'm sure you'll survive."
"I will...but I was hoping you and I could hang out before your sister got home." I looked back at him, sprawled out on my bed, leaned against the wall. He was putting himself on display.
"Nice try...I know what we agreed on but I would like to go slow, you're a lot better at this than me...I need time to catch up." Being honest with him was a lot easier after I had his tongue in my mouth.
"No...I didn't mean...I meant like what we were doing earlier. Just kissing and talking. I like that...a lot. Your Uhm...your virginity is yours, it's not mine to take if it gets to that point I want it to be something you give to me." He sat up further, leaning against my headboard.
"God, you are a dork." I laughed quietly. Blaine was downstairs mooching off our Disney plus account.
"Yeah but I'm hot as shit and you seem to really like that." I crawled on top of the bed, onto his lap. I lazily keep my lips right out of distance of his, making him laugh and smile. He grabbed my hips, pushing me down on top of him, guiding my hips to grind onto his crotch.
"Fuck..." I breathed out finally letting my lips crash into his. I felt him grow against me, the pressure of him rubbing against my core. I'm sure there was a wet spot, even my thighs felt wet.
"God you feel so good." He groaned, his hands coming up the back of my body.
"Off, off, off," I moaned, pulling at his shirt. He pulled back, stripping his shirt off his body and then helping me out of mine. We grinded together like this, becoming sweaty and impatient. Soon it was just our underwear keeping us apart, clothes thrown across the room like unnecessary clutter.
He sucked on the bloom of my breasts, pulling the blood to the surface and gently biting down. My lips attacked his neck and shoulders, biting at his collar bone. His cock was solid against me, wetness soaking both of us, the intoxicating sound sticky sound of wet friction. My hips rocked into his, making him hum softly as he kissed me. His hands explored my back and ass. My moans became more breathy and messy, I could feel so much pressure inside me, like a growing electrical current through my veins.
"Do you want me to help you cum baby?" He groaned in my ear, the wet tip of his tongue tracing across my jaw.
"Yes...please help me." I breathed out, my head lazily rested on his shoulder. I felt his hand come between us, slipping into my underwear. Our hips continued to rock as his fingers swept over me.
His fingertip flicked a bud of nerves, causing my body to ripple and a small scream leaves my lips. I froze but let him continue.
"God it would be hot to see you with my mouth on you...I'm gonna make you cum so good baby." He breathed out, flicking that spot some more before gently rubbing it. He recruited another finger, pace quickening while his two fingers massaged my skin.
The pressure in my stomach started to become too much to handle, I was either panting or holding my breath, I couldn't tell which.
"Fuck..." I hissed as his finger glided across me. I rocked into his hand, still feeling his bulge against me. I bit down on his shoulder, my hips still rocking, and his fingers still moving. He was saying something but my brain was too foggy to comprehend anything other than my need to get off.
I sucked in a gasp and froze, legs shaking and my whole body spasming. I breathed out a lengthy string of obscenities, letting my body rest against his.
"Was that good?" Dominic chuckled, pulling his hand out from between us. All I could do was nod. "Good..."
