VERA'S POV
---END OF FLIGHT---
"Wait." I sighed, turning around to face Dominic as we were getting our bags to get off the plane. "Fuck you, you are an asshole, and I am not apologizing," I stated clearly, arms crossed over my chest with my bag slung over my shoulder. "I just needed you to know that before we got off the plane."
"Okay...then I will say that your sensitivity to what I said did piss me off a little, but I will admit I shouldn't have said that. Also...the whole silent treatment thing was a dick move." He returned, grabbing his bag and sliding the compartment door open for me to walk out. "Ladies first."
"Assholes last."
------
My face was plastered to the taxi window during the drive to the hotel. We were in the more touristy part of London, being able to see a few famous landmarks on the drive, even pointing out a few cafes and restaurants that I wanted to go to. After checking in, I found out Dominic had gotten us a honeymoon suite. Classic paneled walls, original ornate framed artwork, a large clawfoot tub across from the small living room under a big window, and a king-sized bed with silk bedding. Lavish was an understatement.
"You still mad?" He questioned after setting down our bags.
"Shut up!" I yelled playfully, shedding my crusty plane clothes, leaving me in only a t-shirt and underwear. "Do I look mad?" I leaned against the large archway to the bedroom, jutting my hip out and giving him the look.
"You really have me wrapped around your finger, don't you?" He sighed, tugging off his shirt to reveal a gently chiseled chest. Dominic was never the type to push himself to look like a gym rat, keeping his appearance ungodly gorgeous but not over the top on muscles and definition. He was slim, fit, and hot. He had a worker's body and maintained that even when he was sitting drawing up floor plans and models.
"You don't seem to mind..." I whispered, tugging him closer by the waistband of his jeans. He smirked, ducking his head down to mine and meeting me in eye contact.
"I'm not fucking you yet, Vera..." He whispered lowly, barely making a sound. The smirk on his face was amused...not turned on. "And no amount of seduction is gonna change my plans."
"You have plans?" I returned, unsure if he had actual plans for today, or if he had a plan for having sex with me. I would prefer the latter.
"But those plans did take into account that you would probably be wanting after the flight." He hummed, leaning back and looking down at me curiously. "So we're gonna try something new." He tilted his head towards the bedroom, having me follow in behind him.
"New?" I asked weakly, staring up at him with wide eyes. He nodded, still wearing that smirk. My demeanor had completely flipped, I no longer held the confidence and attitude that I did a few moments ago.
"New." He stated, leaning against the bedpost. "On the bed, face the headboard." I scrunched my eyebrows, questioning his demanding tone. "Bed." He repeated, his face changing to something more dangerous.
"What are you doing?" I asked, staying in my place.
"Vera, get on the bed and face the headboard." He repeated again, telling me that he was unwilling to give me any more details. I huffed, rolling my eyes, and climbed on the bed. "You really shouldn't have done that..." He chuckled. I ignored him as I found my way to the middle of the bed and plopped down. "On your knees, Vera." I bit my tongue as I changed my position from sitting criss-cross to being on my knees, my butt resting on my heels.
