Ugh time to wake up for hell. What kind of drugs was someone on when they decided it's a great idea to make children wake up so early in the morning to get nonsense drilled into their heads? It's so dumb. Plus, they say the teachers care about the students and will help them if they need it, but they couldn't care less. So many teachers have seen me getting bullied and just turned the other way.
Slowly, I rolled out of bed to get ready. I'm not like those barbies who take hours to get ready because they have to look "perfect." I don't give a fuck what I look like anymore, even though it's the first day of a new year. I'm a sophomore now. I just threw on my favorite hoodie and some sweatpants, and didn't do any make up since I'll just use my hood to cover my face anyway. No one would want to see my ugly face.

I still have some extra time since it only took me 10 minutes to get ready. Usually it takes me longer to get out of bed because I am not a morning person. So, I actually had time for some breakfast today.
Just my luck. Ethan is already up and in the kitchen. I didn't expect him to be awake since he usually wakes up later. He drives himself to school, while I walk, so he gets more time. Like I said, I'm a sophomore but he's a junior. I don't really mind walking, but I do think it would be nice if he at least offered me a ride. It takes me about 15 minutes to walk there, he gets there in 2.
Sighing, I grabbed my granola bar and backpack before leaving for school, without a word to Ethan.
