I'm boarding the train to Traverse City. My parents can't get 3 weeks off of work so they aren't driving Roxy and I up. And our horses are riding in a trailer, but there weren't seats for us in the trailer so we're here. It's a 3 hour ride so I grab a pillow, turn some music on, and get some sleep.

I wake up when the train comes to a sudden stop. I look around, and there we are. Traverse City. I grab my sleek white suitcase and my yellow fjallraven kanken backpack and hop off the train with Roxy right beside me. We make our way through the crowded station to get to the loading zone where a cab will be waiting. When I see the taxi driver awkwardly holding a sign that says: HI SOPHIE AND ROXY! and has a silhouette of a horse on it I greet him and he opens the car door for us. It's about a 15 minute drive to the bed and breakfast we'll be staying at that's just across the street from the stable where our horses will stay and where the competition will be held. soon I see the stable and b&b and smile big!
