I do a couple more jumps with Dream before putting her away. After giving her a quick kiss on the cheek I walk back to the b&b. Roxy is sleeping when I get in there. Her muddy boots are on the floor so she must have been riding. There is only one way to make Roxy wake up. I grab a cup, head to the bathroom. And pour the water on her face.

"MOM!" She screams but mom is back home, not close enough to hear Roxy no matter how loud she yells. I snicker.

"C'mon," I say, "What do you want to do?"

"Ice cream! Ice cream!" She chants her anger vanishing.

"Ok." I say without thinking. Whatever Roxy wants.

10 minutes later we decide to take our horses to the nearest Ice cream place. We'll ride bareback. We go on a nice leisurely ride and when Roxy spots the Ice cream place, she smiles at me. But as we come closer I see. I see him...  And he's mad.
