As Alina stood in the Little Palace dressed in grisha robes staring into General Kirigans eyes, she finally realized- she's in love with him.
"Even though it hurts."
Kirigan through a glass object against the wall with a yell..Alina was gone, ran away to get away from his evil grasp, he wasn't mad that he lost her power...he was mad he lost her.
"Cause i done care if I lose my mind."
Kirigan stood tears in his eyes as Alina held his wrist light encircling them in a protective bubble, he didn't care about his plan in that moment, all he cared about was her.
"I'm already cursed."
Kirigan stood on the skiff in the fold finally realizing what he should have knew all along, there stood Alina looking at him with such hate she used to stare with love, he finally realized-he can't escape the curse of shadows.
