He specializes in the changing of others reactions and feelings, but his true strength is in making others sleep, given the practice he has had in both fields
Family:
His father was a great actor during his time, something that had inspired Hiro to follow his path. His mother was, in all honesty, seen to the public as his fathers "arm candy", and was nothing less to his father than a pretty face. Hiro still respected and cared for his mother, and as he tries to take on his fathers previous role he plans to help his mother in the process.
Personality:
So, he sucks. Let's get that out of the way he is not a good person at all whatsoever. He constantly complains about ever, is stubborn beyond belief, annoyed 24/7, will hate your guts if you breath his precious air, and has a bit of a main character complex. He is haughty to the extreme, has more self confidence than like everyone I know combined, and looks down on everyone. He imagines he isn't just walking about others, he is on an entirely different field yards above the rest, walking in newly polished shoes as he steps on ground paved by the geniuses before him, who specially placed down the red carpet of which he walks on because they work for him. He is also like, low key a token tsundere but that's it's own thing.
He has a lot of passion for what he does, theater being the one thing in life he will put his whole heart into. His father brought him into the world of live theater and there is no way Hiro is getting out of it. He intends to bask in the fame of his acting, and will do whatever it takes to get there.
It doesn't matter what sacrifices have to be made.
He is one of those "always just out of reach" kind of guys, always second to someone else, which of course just makes him hate others more. He thinks he's the best! Not behind someone else! He tries his best to be the #1 at his theater but nooo, that spot is taken. So of course, that resorted to becoming the directors lap dog.
A teachers pet-
He sabotages other plays and theaters constantly due to his directors wishes. He goes into the audience in disguise, makes the patrons hate the play or fall asleep mid act with his powers, and when he is feeling ambitious, mess with the actors too. Right after, he will sneak out and perform street acts to gain attention towards his theater, and boom, fame is his.
All he has to do now is grab that number one spot for himself... but he hasn't been able to no matter what he does
It's almost as if... he's being strung along...
Backstory:
Hiro's father was a famous actor, known world wide for his work and having gone on National and international tours with his shows and having picked up many women along the way. After having his reputation beginning to taint due to his frivolous activities, he just kind of, picked one of his flings he found the prettiest to marry, and when the timing was right and his fathers popularity was just starting to dip, Hiro was born and his father was back on top.
Hiro was just like every celebrity child, paraded around on magazines and interviews as an object of the public, but he didn't mind. He admired his father, his hard work and never stop for anyone attitude, the way people would worship him like a god. He wanted that for himself, so as soon as he could walk, form words, and read, he asked his father to enroll in some acting classes. Years went on and Hiro exceeded in theater, to the point where he began to peruse it professionally, but alas, he was always second. At his current theater company, one known for fan service, high budget plays, and having a not so honest director, Hiro always found himself short of his co-star, someone known as the "top prince" of the theater.
And well, you know where things went from there.
Strengths:
It comes with the acting abilities he possess, but Hiro is an excellent liar. He exceeds in making anyone believe whatever he tells them. He can act as innocent and clueless as he wants and you cannot find it to not believe him-
Weaknesses:
Yeah he's a garbage person who will put down anyone who gets in his way, soooo he doesn't have like, any friends. At all. Of course he has those shallow one sided acquaintances used for publicity, but nothing more than skin deep.
Likes:
You know those super expensive sweets you find at like, Whole Foods that are $25 and taste like pure bitterness with jam and you wonder "who would pay $25 for this?" Yeah, Hiro would, that's who. His diet consists of expensive pomegranate jam filled dark chocolates that cost $38 for 6.

Reason why you joined the selection:
It was the last resort. The final thing he could think to do to get above his competitors. What would the crowds love more than a literal prince?! And if not, well at least he got the publicity boost. It was the one thing his competitor had never done, and he planned to extort it entirely.
