As you already know, Gabriel is obsessed with ghosts. The paranormal. The after life. What happens to people when they die, and what causes the death of others. He spends his time locked up in his room, in the dark, trying to find a way to make direct contact with the after life. He also is convinced that his youngest sister is a banshee and her coming was what caused the death of his fathers.
He was born in a rough household. His birth parents helped run this church, and they would excuse their abusive and manipulative behavior on saying that it was "what their god would want them to do." Oh yeah, they basically made their own religion and god. Gabriel was told constantly that he would be going to the underworld. It was because of that that he started getting obsessed with ghosts and other paranormal beings, because he wanted to find out how to stay on earth after he died, because he didn't want to end up where his birth parents told him he would go. When he was 7, he ran away from home and was able to call the police after his parents did some

Gabriel can be pretty blunt. He says what he's thinking and doesn't hold back. Because of that, he doesn't really have a lot of friends at school other than his #scoobydoosquad where they go and test out all of the schools legends and where people have said there was "paranormal activity."
Oh he's also low key emo to the extremo and only looks up like, ghost wiki's and watches the travel channel religiously
