2-A New Life

10 Years later-

Percy has been completing tasks for Athena to get her blessing to marry Annabeth. He has stayed in Tartarus for 100 years, killing monsters, but in the real world it was 1 year. After that, he held the sky for 2 months, won a debate of a broken promise with Lady Styx, freed Erebus, Aether, Hemera from their bad sides, and spent the remaining time with the Amazons, training. He has been IM'ing Annabeth every other week.

Athena knew he was worthy enough from the beginning, but she didn't want to appear soft. After beating all the Amazons in a battle in less than an hour, Athena teleported him to her palace. Percy kneeled. "Rise young hero, you are worthy enough to marry my daughter. Here is a ring forged by Hephaestus." She hands him a beautiful ring made out of Imperial gold and Celestial bronze, intertwining, and engraved at the bottom was 'True Love". Percy bowed, "Thank you so much Lady Athena, I will not let you down."

He immediately got teleported next to Peleus. He pet Peleus while trying to make a plan to propose to Annabeth. When he was walking to his cabin, he saw Jason talking to Piper. Percy went to Jason. "Hey Jason", Percy greeted. Jason turned around and hugged him. "Your done with your quest?" Percy nodded. He took out the ring. Piper gasped"It's beautiful". "Is that why you were doing your quest"? Jason wondered. Percy excitedly nodded.

"I will propose to her on the beach in an hour". Percy saw Annabeth talking to someone. He waved goodbye to Jason and Piper who looked nervous, but Percy didn't notice. He walked up to Annabeth and tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey, can we meet in an hour on the beach?". "No hi or anything Seaweed Brain?". Annabeth laughed. Percy leaned in for a kiss. "How about that?", he said. Annabeth blushed and agreed.

Percy happily walked back to his cabin. He took a shower, drying himself with his power after. He was a little tired, but he didn't want to sleep, in case he had nightmares of Tartarus or holding the sky. He winced. He checked the time, he had 15 minutes. While he was walking out of his cabin, he bumped into a 10 year old. "Sorry about that, little one.". Percy helped her up. She giggled. "What is your name, mine is Percy?" He kindly asked. "My name is Emma.", She giggled out. Percy thought she looked like a mini Annabeth, but with blue highlights in her hair. He thought she was just another Athena camper. "So is your mother Athena?", he asked. Emma shyly shook her head,"She is my grandma, my mother is Annabeth". 

Percy fell to his knees. "What?", he croaked out. Emma oblivious to this said,"Yes, she is, and those are my other siblings." She pointed to a group of 15-20 children, ranging from 5-10, sitting on a table that must've been added for Annabeth since she is a god. "Well it was nice meeting you."Percy managed to say. He went to his cabin and started crying.

20 minutes later-

The door to the cabin opened. Annabeth walked in. "Where were you Percy, we were supposed to meet at the beach 5 minu-Why?" Annabeth asked nervously,"What do you mean why?." "Why do you have so many kids?", Percy croaked. "I have no idea what you are talking about.", Annabeth said, panicking. "Well what about Emma? She told me you were her mom and pointed to another set of kids.". "Well I was bored.". "THAT'S ALL YOU SAY?", Percy shouted, "THAT YOU WERE BORED?". Annabeth nodded, not even a bit ashamed. "Well I was going to propose to you today so I guess I have to cancel it.". Annabeth just walked out, with no reaction. Percy started crying once again, knowing that the girl he loved had changed.

5 minutes later-

Percy calmed himself, packed a bag full of his clothing, and ran into the forest. While running, many campers booed at him and threw stuff. Ten minutes of running later, there were 4 flashes in front of him. Percy closed his eyes and waited for the flashes to subside until he opened them. In front of him, he saw Poseidon, Hera, Hestia, and Hades with looks of anger and pity. 

Percy ran to Hera and Poseidon and hugged them, tears cascading down his face. They returned it and stayed like that for a few minutes. Once they knew that Percy calmed down they let him go. "Percy, we know camp has bad memories, so we want to give you a new job.", Hera said. Hades put in, "You could be my assassin, killing corrupt leaders, not just on Earth, but all over the galaxy.". Hestia piped in, "You would also lead new demigods to both camps or to the hunters. Percy nodded, "I'm in.". They all smiled. "We will now give you our blessings." Hades said. "Whoa wait up. I don't want to get more powerful, I can do it with my regular powers. I can control blood, if I get more powerful that would be bad." Percy said, shuddering. Hestia smiled warmly at him. " Nonsense, we know you will never get corrupt, even the Fates said it.". Percy blushed.

"You will either get them voluntarily or we will give them to you without you permission. I do not want my son to die." Hera said. Poseidon smiled and nodded. "If you guys are sure, go ahead." Percy sighed. They all shot a ball of energy towards him. "My blessing allows you to shadow travel, and you won't get as tired as when Nico does it". Percy grimaced at the thought of Nico, who threw a ball of shadows at him when Percy was running to the forest, which hurt like freezing to death, without the death part.

Thanks you Lord Hades." Hades said,"None of that, all of us see you as a nephew or son, just call me uncle.". Percy was shocked. "Ok Uncle H", Percy grinned. Hades grumbled. Percy's smile grew wider. "Get that smile off your face before I wipe it off.", Hades warned, suppressing a smile. "Ok Uncle H", Percy joked, barely hiding a large grin. Hades growled, but quite liked the name. The rest smiled at the interaction.

"With my blessing, you can summon fire, but it makes you tired. You can also summon food, but not nectar or ambrosia." Hestia happily said. Percy hugged her. Poseidon said,"My blessing does nothing, because you already have more powers than what my blessing could give, and the waters think of you as them. I can only give you my support.". Percy hugged him, grateful. "For my blessing, I give you the ability to see if people are faithful, and because I spend so much time in the forest, I can make you a minor prince of the wild.". Hera said smiling. Percy hugged her. "Thank you mom.". "Of course.", Hera said.

"Do you want a new name?", Poseidon asks. "So nobody can recognize you?". Percy nodded. "How about Katharos?", Hestia wondered. Pure, Percy thought. Percy smiled. "I like that.".

A/N-And that, was the second chapter. How was it? Next chapter will probably have Chaos in it. Maybe...ok fine yes. I still don't know about the update schedule, but I will update about every week, more if I have time. Fell free to leave comments and suggestions. Until next time!!
