Serena's P.O.V.
That whole night, Aidan and I snuggled up together, with my head resting on his chest. He gently stroked my hair as we stared in the darkness, waiting for sleep to take over. "God, I love you," Aidan whispered, an echo going around the closed bedroom. "I love you too," I whispered back, looking up at him with a smile. We couldn't see that well in the darkness, but we didn't care. As long as we were together, it was perfect.
"My pretty girl," He whispered before I felt him sit up and kiss my forehead. Without hesitation, I carefully looked up at him and smiled before leaning to kiss his lips. My hands immediately flew to his hair, slowly sliding down to his cheeks as I deepened the kiss. His hands gently rested at my hips as we continued the passionate make-out before pulling apart moments later, out of breath.
"I don't think I ever told you this, but you're a good kisser," I panted softly. "I've had a lot of practice with you," He chuckled. He scooted closer to me until our hips touched, and slowly, the two of us started to fall asleep.

Morning came, and the smell of breakfast instantly filled the air, waking me from my sleep. The moment I finished rubbing the tired out of my eyes, I saw Aidan standing in the doorway, still in his pajamas with a breakfast tray in his hands. "Morning, sweetheart! Made you some breakfast," He smiled as he placed the tray carefully on the bed. "Aww, thank you. I love it!" I smiled before kissing his lips.
"Added just the right amount of cream and sugar to the coffee, just the way you like it," he smiled. "You know me like the back of my hand," I chuckled softly before a bite from one of the croissants. He took a seat next to me and took turns feeding each other some of the strawberries, sharing kisses in-between. "So, what's the plan for today, Gallagher?" I asked. Aidan liked it when I called him by his last name. I don't know why but he liked it. And, of course, he would return the favor.
"Well, Waterbury, I thought we could stay in bed today. Not going anywhere, just snuggling under the sheets with the girl I love," He answered, that damn grin spreading across his face. I placed the tray and empty plates next to the bed before climbing under the covers and resting my head on his chest, in the same spot from last night. "This tour is going to be insane," He said, running his fingers through my hair. "Well, it's going to be better with you there," I admitted.
Aidan slightly shifted in the bed, making one of his legs rest against mine. Whenever we snuggled together, we fit perfectly together, like two matching puzzle pieces. I glanced up at him as he continued to stroke my hair, giving him that smile that made his heart flutter. I leaned in close to kiss him, but before our lips could touch, my phone started ringing from the other side of the room.
As I got out of the bed, Aidan lightly grabbed my wrists, getting my attention. "Do you have to get up?" He said, giving me pouty eyes. "I have to answer that. It could be my manager calling about the tour dates," I sighed. I grabbed the phone from the charger, and by the time the phone rang a third time, I had answered it.
"Hey Serena, it's Joseph. So, we've finalized the first part of the tour. Your set to start the first leg on March 10th," My manager said almost immediately when I picked up. "Awesome! Thank you so much for letting me know! Is there anything else?" I asked. "Yes, since you've got about a month and a half before the tour, I want you to really prepare for this. So, starting today, I need you to head to the local recording studio on Voyager Dr. I've already called them and told them who you are,"
I glanced over at Aidan, who sat up with a look of curiosity. "Okay, what time should I be there?" I asked. "3:00 at the latest," Joseph answered. "Alright, I'll be there!" The moment I hung up the phone, I rushed towards my suitcase and grabbed a random shirt and pants before rushing to the bathroom to get changed. When I walked out, Aidan was standing in the doorway, confused by what just happened. "Who was that?" He asked.
"It was Joseph. He wants me to head to the studio to practice for the concert. So, we're going to have to cut the snuggles short," I explained. His face fell but quickly lightened up as a thought crossed his mind. "Could I come with you? Maybe I could keep you company!" At first, I wanted to tell him that I would be fine, but when I heard Cameron's threat inside my head once again, I realized I did not want to be left alone.
"Yeah, you can come," I answered.

On the way to the studio, I started to feel my anxiety come back to haunt me. This was the first time I had been to a recording studio outside of my record label, and I was hoping that the people in there were nice. Not that the people at the label were mean, they were just very strict when it came to me performing some of my songs.
The Uber came to a stop in front of the studio. And when I got out, the weight came off of my shoulders. "Hey, Serena! Welcome!" A girl with red hair and brown eyes smiled as she ushered me to take a seat. "My name is Rue, and I'll be helping with your session today," She introduced. "Nice to meet you, Rue. I'm Serena, and this is my boyfriend, Aidan. He's just here to keep me company and watch me work,"
She shook both of our hands and explained how the process would go. First, vocal warm-ups, then some testing for the mic, and then we would finally get into the good stuff.
"Alright! Let do this!"
