Power Cut (NR)

There's a power cut at the compound ahh!

I was sitting on the sofa with Peter and Tony watching Back to the Future.

"Okay, I'm so confused. What's going on" I asked.

I seriously didn't know what was happening. Really my only friends here are Nat and Clint and they said I had to start to befriend more people here. So I walked into the living area and I saw Peter and Tony. Perfect! Just my chance to make friends.

"Biff and his gang are chasing Marty who's on a skateboard. Now shush. This is legit one of the best parts in the movie" Tony replies.

"Alright, alright. Calm down Grandpa"

I knew he would've given me a look but he was so focused on what he was watching he didn't.

"Shiiiii-" Biff and the gang say

Poof. The room turns to darkness.

"NOOOOO" Tony and Peter shout.

"What's happening" I ask.

"Idk" Peter says.

"Power cut" Cap says from behind me which makes me jump.

"Well no shit sherlock" Tony remarks.

"Oh, ha ha" Cap says mockingly.

"Will you boys stop bickering and help Banner" Nat says which also made me jump because I couldn't see her.

"Ugh fine"

Cap and Tony left the room I presume. I can't see anything.

"Hey Y/N, you in here" Nat asks.

"Yeah I'm here" I say.

She looks around until she makes out an outline of me.

"You ok" She asks.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just don't like the dark"

"Yeah I know baby"

She hugs me which makes me jump at the start but I soon give her one back. My eyes have sort of adjusted to dark so I can kinda see things.

"Babe, I'm hungry" I say.

I had a pizza in the oven but because there was a power cut it wont be cooked.

"Me too. You wanna find our way to the cupboard and rummage through that"

"Yeah"

We stand up cautiously whilst holding each others hands and walk slowly to the fridge. We bumped into a few chairs but we made it there.

"Okay.... So from what I can tell, we have a pack of... Um... Oreos I think and Pop Tarts-" Nat says.

"Mine" Thor screams and runs to us after bumping into many things.

"Uh-Okay I guess. Umm... We also have Cereal and I think that's it" She continues.

"That's it" I questioned.

"Yeah, a shop is coming later today"

"Oh okay. I'll take what we've got then"

She then gets the Cereal and Oreos and we make our way back to the sofa just as successfully as we made it to the cupboard. We sit back down and start to dig into our food. I could tell they were out of date but I didn't care.

"So have you made any friends yet" She asked me.

"Sorta. I was in the middle of watching a dumb movie with Tony and Spider Boy before the power went out"

"Hey! It's Spider Man" Peter says emphasising the Man.

"I forgot you were here. But I don't think you're much of a Man whilst wearing those Iron Man themed Pyjamas" I reply.

"Uh-rude" He sulks.

The lights aren't on but I can tell Nat's looking at me judgingly.

"What" I ask.

"Do you seriously think that's the best approach to making friends"

"I-uh. Ugh fine. Sorry Peter you are a Man" I apologise.

"Awww. Thanks Y/N" He says.

"Much better" Nat says and she leans in for a kiss.

"Ewww guys" Peter groaned.

Me and Nat just laugh and go back to eating.

"What's taking them so long" I whine with a mouthful of Cheerios.

"No idea" She replies much like me with a mouthful of Cheerios. "OI, BANNER! WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG" She shouts.

"We're almost done" He replies. And just like that the lights turn on.

"And let there be light" Tony says with a smug expression on his face.

"What caused the Power cut" I asked.

"Birdbrain over there fell from a vent and landed on something in the Power Room and broke it" Nat said.

"Hey! I was hiding from you" He replies.

"Why were you hiding from Nat" I asked.

"She was trying to colour my hair red like hers so we could be matching"

"Well, seeing as you caused the power cut, I think it's the best for you to let her do that" Tony says.

"No"

I look at Nat and she has the biggest smirk on her face. She then runs as fast as I had ever seen her before and chases Clint around the compound.

1 Hour later

"Come on"

"Show us"

Clint walks into the living area and he has red hair and a bow in it. Everyone immediately takes out their phones and takes pictures of him.

"Awww, doesn't Clinton look pretty" I say.

"Shut up" He says through gritted teeth.

"Never" I smirked.
