I never fit in with other people. I think that's because I wasn't allowed to do things that they're. For example, I've never been to a party of someone not in my family. It's not like I didn't want to either, my mum would never let me. She's very overprotective of me which means that no one knows that I'm the Scarlett Johansson's daughter. She thinks that if people did find out then they would use me to get to her.
I turned 17 a few weeks ago and I decided that I can look after myself. She's told me for 17 years what to do and I'm almost an adult. She can't do this anymore! So, when I got an invitation to go to go to the popular boy's party, I happily obliged.
I checked, and my mum was on set that night. Good. I told her that I'll be going to my dad's house after school so she wouldn't be suspicious if she went home early and I wasn't there. I'm very close with my dad, much more than I am with my mum, but I don't live with him sadly. However, I told him about the plan and he agreed. He too thought that my mum controls me too much. This will be fun!
After the school bell goes, I go to my dad's house to get ready.
"Hey princess" He opened to door to me.
"Hey dad! Do you have my stuff"
"Yep. It's all in your room"
"Thanks"
I give him a hug before I go upstairs to get changed.
Because I had never been to a party before, I didn't really know what to wear. I mean, do I wear something really nice like a dress or something casual like jeans and a jumper. That's why for the past few nights I did some studying. I watched every teen movie or show which has a party in it. And it seems that they all go casual. So, I picked out something with much deliberation.
