After school I figured Leo would be at the basketball court again so after I got done with my last class I went there and waiting for him on the bleachers.
About 20 minutes passed and I started to get impatient. I was going to call him but I figured he was busy and would show in a bit. So, I waited for another 20 minutes.
Finally, I got sick of waiting so I left the gym and called him on my way out. No answer. Figures. I walked back home which was about a 30 minute walk. I usually took the bus but I'd missed it waiting for Leo.
When I got home I went to my room and below and behold, Leo was there chilling on my bed. He had a book in his hands.

He looked at me when I closed the door. "Took you long enough." I put my book bag down. "I was waiting for you in the gym for like an hour." He laughed and put the book aside. I stared at it for a moment and than my gaze went back to him when he began to speak again. "So." He sighed and sat up properly. "Who left you in?" Mom wasn't home. "Alyse was downstairs." I nodded and sat on the end of my bed, facing him. The room was silent for a good second. "Should we talk stuff out or?" He broke the silence.
"There's not much to talk out. We already apologized." I shrugged looking at my hands. "You understand that I'm genuinely sorry though, right?" He moved closer to me and I looked at him. "Yeah," I nodded, "I do." "Good." He paused. "So what's going on with us?" "If I agree to be your girlfriend again you have to promise me you aren't going to pull anymore random shit like that. If you're not doing okay, you need to tell me so I can help you." I sighed. He nodded, "understood."
He leaned in and kissed my forehead, pressing his against mine after. "I'm sorry." "You said that fifty times." I laughed, "it's okay."
I pulled away from him, "so what about these new friends? Who are they?" "Oh." He sighed. "I met them a while ago, actually. We just hang out from time to time. When we broke up I started hanging out with them a lot more in my free time." "I see." I nodded. "I'm glad you have friends now." I smiled although, for some reason, these friends of his made me uneasy.
"You can meet them if you want." "Uhm. I guess." I laughed a little. "Cool. Lets go to pedros then. I bet they're all hanging out there." Leo got up off the bed and took my hand.
We walked a few blocks from my house to get to pedro's. Once we got there, Leo knocked on the door and we stood there for a good while waiting for a response. "They're probably in the basement. Stay here, I'll be right back." Leo walked around the house and I stood on the porch awkwardly.
I could hear a door close and so I took that as they were there. I stood there for a good 20 minutes pacing.
Finally, Leo came out with Pedro and Mickey. I guess neutron was busy. Pedro was short and wore a black hat. I hadn't seen him without it. Mickey was fit. Kind of had an asshole vibe to him.
"So this is the lady, huh?" Mickey approached me putting an arm around me, causing me to flinch because I didn't know him what so ever. "Bro, be gentle." Leo moved his arm off of me and wrapped his around me and I did the same. I assumed Leo did so because he knew what I'd been through with my dad so men I didn't know alarmed me.
"Ew." Pedro laughed. "Since when we're you romantic?" Mickey laughed as well.
We walked to a cliff that they'd said they had gone to many times before. Almost instantly, they all started taking their shirts and pants off. "What the hell are you guys doing?" I was entirely confused. "You can't come to this cliff without jumping off." Mickey said looking down at the water at least 20 feet below us.
They all looked at me. "No way. I'm not doing that shit." I backed away from them with my hands up in surrender. "I was nervous too, y/n." Pedro was trying to make me feel better. "It's not that bad you just have to land right or it's painful."
"It'll be okay, babe." Leo smiled at me. "Okay fine. But only once. Never again." I took my shirt off and tossed it. They all stared. "What? You've never seen a bra before?" I laughed and took my jeans and shoes off.
Mickey gathered all of our clothes and stuck them into a plastic back tying it and throwing it into the water below.
"See you guys at the bottom." Mickey jumped without hesitation and we heard him yelling on the way down. Pedro went after him and when we heard him hit the water Leo looked at me and held out his hand.
I looked down and felt a chill go over my body. We were so high up. I took Leos hand and gripped it for dear life. He held on tight as well and he began to count, "1....2....3". On three we both jumped and held our noses with our free hands.
I felt the air gliding through my hair and the weight of my body felt heavier than it had ever been. Soon enough we both hit water and came back up still holding onto each other's hand. We continued to swim until about dark and than got dressed and headed back to pedros.
A/n: New chapter coming soon guys. We're at the rising action right now so big things coming be prepared for some intense things. Also if I accidentally use abbreviations I apologize lmao I'm so sued to using them in texts. See I legit just used "lmao" without hesitation.
