A/n: Hey guys! Sorry it's been a good few days since I've updated. Idk when this part will be up but I've been extremely busy. I also broke my phone and it's hard to proof read if I can't see the entire left side of my phone because it's shattered so sorry if there are many mistakes I apologize.
⚠️TW: Drug use and vomit⚠️

My heart was pounding and I ran to the basement door, pounding on it. Nobody opened the door. Not a sound either.
"Pedro. Open the god damn door." I said a bit loud. The door opened a crack.
"What?" Pedro mumbled.
"Where's Leo?"
"He's not here." Pedro went to close the door and I stopped it with my foot.
"Pedro. I'll only ask you one more time and beyond that, I'll call the cops on you." I hated threatening someone who'd felt like a friend to me but I had to find Leo.
"I don't know where he is, Jesus. Would you leave me alone?" Pedro raised his voice a little.
I pulled my foot out from between the door and frame and ran back up to the front of pedros house, standing on the side walk. How the hell would I find him?

I started walking back home and passed the block Leo and I had walked down the day everything with him sort of crashed. I stopped and looked down the road. There were people laying on the curb side of the road. I wasn't sure why the police hadn't come here and gotten any of these people. I guess they had more important things to worry about.

I started walking down the street pretty uneasily. At this moment, more than any, I'd wished I had leo by my side. Maybe this wouldn't be as terrifying. I looked at every face on every side. I hadn't seen Leo. I got to the end of the block when I saw someone in a navy green jacket laying on a bench. I couldn't see their face because their hood was covering them.

I slowly approached the person and tapped their shoulder jolted backwards afterwards, scared. A mumble came from the being.
"Leo?" I got a little closer.
I pulled the hood back slowly and sure enough it was Leo. His eyes closed, mouth open, puke surrounded him on the bench. His face was pure white. He looked like he was gone. My heart shattered and tears started forming in my eyes.

"Oh my god." I sighed. "Look at you. What happened?" I leaned down to him trying not to pay attention to his sick everywhere.
I ran a hand through his hair. It was greasy. Like he hadn't showered a good while. I stood up and helped him sit up. He was still out cold.

"Hey." I said softly as I put a hand on his cheek. He was still warm. Which meant he was alive. Thank god. "I need you to wake up for me, baby." I felt more tears forming. And a mumble left Leos white lips. I sighed. I took his arm and pulled him up draping it around my shoulder.

I basically drug him down the street. He was a lot bigger than me so it was difficult to carry him but I did my absolute best. Once I got to the alley way we met in, it was getting dark. So, I layed Leo down gently and sat down beside him, laying his head on my lap. I couldn't carry him any longer.

I stared at his pale face as I ran my fingers through his hair gently. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and dialed my moms number. What was she gonna say about all of this? Would she even let me take Leo in?

"Hey, honey. It's been a while I was just about to call and make sure you're okay. What's up?" My mom picked up quickly.
I sniffled trying not to let her know I was crying through my voice. "Yeah, I need you to come pick me up, okay? Leo is in a lot of trouble and I need some help getting him to our house. I need to take care of him."
She paused. "What's wrong with Leo?"
"I'll explain when you get here just please come get me."
She agreed and soon came to the alley way picking us both up. I layed Leo down in the back seat and my mom stared at him from the front, astonished.

"Y/n, what happened?" She had worry in her eyes as she looked at me when I got into the front seat and buckled up.
"Leo got caught up with some bad people who got him into bad things. If I don't take care of him now I doubt he's gonna make it." I didn't look at her.
She didn't say anything for a minute. "So, you want me to hoard a drug addict in my house?"
I now looked at her. "I know it all sounds crazy but please, please don't make me stay on the streets with him. Because if he goes I go. He means the world to me." Tears streamed down my cheeks.

She looked at me with caution. "Fine. Fine. But keep him in your room. I mean it. If anyone sees that kid with us the cops will be called on us and who knows what they'd try and accuse us of."
I sighed. "Thank you so much." I leaned in and hugged her and she hugged back.
"Well, I'm not just gonna let you on the streets. You're my kid now. You're my responsibility."

We went back to the house and she helped me carry Leo up to my room. We layed him on my bed and I closed the door and locked it as well as the windows. I knew at some point he'd wake up and freak the fuck out.
