Description:
He let out a frustrated groan. "One day," he said, "one day you'll realize you're taking me for granted. And you'll fall helplessly in love with me."
"I highly doubt that." I looked out the window.
That would never happen, I kept telling myself, it would never happen.

Review: (brace yourself, this is gonna be really long!)
Before anything, I want to tell you that aside from the three main characters in this book, the title can also be referred to the freakin' author. This heartbreaking story's author is the real heartbreaker, I tell you. Also, the description may sound cliché, and the story may be as well (well, the author actually humbly admits that the story's a cliché), but I personally think that the turns of events in this story aren't cliché, and even if others argue that they are, then I'd say that they're told in the most unexpected ways.
So let's begin.
Seth may sound like a cliché player-but-really-is-a-sweet-gentleman kind of character, but for some reason, his little gestures still catch me off guard (even if I'm an #rr!). He makes grand gestures seem so overrated. There are just so many twists about his personality, it always catches me off guard. Oh and his freakin' one-liners too that say it all. He's one of those rare male protagonists who seem to be kind of hard to find nowadays, but aren't really too unreachable or too fictional. I mean, he's not the kind that's too sweet, too gentlemanly, too caring, too thoughtful, too Prince Charming, too everything that makes you wanna barf and roll your eyes sometimes. He's actually a "sexist pig" (Kyla's words), but he knows just the perfect amount of gentle, rude, sweet, bastard, care, annoying, etc. thrown together that's really compatible with Kyla's. And according to Kyla (again), "Seth was so different from most guys that [she] sometimes forgets the fact that he was still a guy after all," without meaning that Seth's gay at all, lol. Basically, he's still at that realistic level that you only get to find if you actually get to know the guy, which will take more than just a sickening love at first sight.
Kyla also catches me off guard when she does the first move. I love when girls do that in the most unexpected ways. She's also the perfect example of a female protagonist who doesn't turn into a lovesick puppy around the male protagonist. She challenges him most of the time (which is a great thing 'cause that's kind of hot for most guys) and actually has a mind of her own, which sets her aside from the cliché female protagonists. Oh and I hate when Kyla does or says this super adorable thing and only gets like 10 comments, but when Seth does or says it, 1000 people are gushing over it. Like bruhhh Watters can also be sexist pigs sometimes. Anyway, Kyla's basically the girl version of Seth; she pretends to be a heartless bítch, but she actually cares in the most random moments in the most unexpected ways, it's freakin' adorable.
