You woke up earlier and the place was silent. Gojou hadn't gotten any sleep, staying awake to help keep eyes on the place. More people were starting to leave, but you didn't know why.
Did that mean that maybe it was over? Surely not, right? It was way too soon. "Gojou, everything going okay?" you step out of the room. The floor was marble and the windows were covered up. There weren't very many doors either unless it led to a room. And there was a small garden in the back, which you were dying to see, but you guys still weren't allowed out.
Right now, you shouldn't even be out of your room. "You should go back in there. Everything is fine," he looks around the place, placing the gun he had in his hand in the back of his pants. "Teach me how to use the gun. Please, in case anything happened,"
Gojou glanced at you. "No, maybe another time. Now, will you finally listen to me and go back into the room?"
You let out a low sigh before spinning around and walking back to the room. You noticed the back door was open and when you turned around to say something to Gojou, he was gone.
Ignoring it, you went back into the room to wash your face. There were some snacks in there that Nanami had brought you, which you thanked him for. He showed up in the room, scaring you.
"Sorry to wake up, I just thought that maybe you'd enjoy these while you were here?" leaning upward, you rubbed your eyes and looked at the bag of junk. "Nanami," you grin, looking at him for a split second, taking the bag from him. "thank you, you're so sweet."
Nanami nods, going to back up. "Would you like to sit in here and eat some with me? I could use the company," Gojou hadn't been in here at all, except for checking up on you. That was it. "you don't have to, just thought I'd ask."
He almost hesitates but then nods slowly, taking a seat on the bed, which made you smile. "Thank you for thinking of me. It's been boring in here ever since we got here, but I understand it's not supposed to be fun. I just..."
"Try not to think about the bad things. You'll never be able to fully rest if you constantly think about it. It's easier said than done, I know," he pushed his glasses up. "but you have to try to let yourself relax."
You open a package of the snacks. "What made you join the mafia with Gojou? I know you two are friends, but..."
"Ah, that's a bit complicated. I even quit at one point, but Gojou was happy to bring me back. He even threw a party, though I did not want one. We may not get along all the time, but he's always been there. I thank him for that,"
Randomly, you thought about Kei and wondered if she was doing okay. Then instantly started overthinking everything. What if Getou went after her because you guys were gone? You had to know she was okay. There was a phone here for you to use, but you couldn't get any reception inside the safehouse.
That meant you had to go outside and try to use it that way. You then remembered that the door was open. Swallowing hard, you picked up the phone and left the room quietly. Gojou was nowhere to be seen, which was good for you.
Meaning you could go outside without him catching you. Just one call for like a minute, that wouldn't hurt. Pushing the door open, you stepped outside. Your eyes slightly widened, seeing the weed growing all around the place.
Ignoring it, you started to dial Kei's number. After pressing the call button, you pressed it up against your ear and waited as it rang. "Come on, Kei," you sigh, eyes closing.
Shots were fired when Kei answered the phone. "Hello? Who is this?" you heard her voice. She sounded okay. "It's just Y/n, never mind," instantly you hung up, due to the gunshots going off in the front. "Y/n!"
Getting up off the ground, you opened the door. "Gojou!"
He wanted to be mad at you for being outside, but he just needed to make sure you were safe. "Okay, stay right here. Promise me, okay? I'm going to be right back, I need to grab something,"
"I promise," you say quietly, your heart beating so fast, you felt as if was about to burst from your chest. A hand clamped over your mouth and you tried to let out a scream, but a gun was pressed up against your temple.
They began to walk slowly, making their way out into the backyard. "Please," your eyes were closed. "dad."
He kept the gun pressed against your temple and made his way over to the middle of the yard. There was something there, but you didn't know what it was. Gojou was looking for you, worried that you had run off somewhere. But you promised him, so he only thought the worst.
Pulling his gun out, he walked outside. "Gojou," you croak out, seeing his figure walking outside. "Hello, Gojou," your dad greets him, coming face to face with him.
"Let her go, she has nothing to do with this," your dad let out a laugh, pressing the gun harder against your temple. "she's your daughter. Are you really willing to kill your daughter just to fuck with me!"
Your dad cocked the gun. "Put the gun down Gojou,"
His blue eyes met yours. "Do it Gojou, shoot," he felt angry, having no idea what to do. He had never been in a situation like this, so it was hard. Yeah, he had the chance to kill your father, finally, but he didn't want to hurt you. He couldn't.
"I found your weakness, Gojou, drop the gun or I pull the trigger," your dad was hoping that Gojou would listen, and then he stared at Gojou as he sighed. "the clock is ticking."
You saw something in the corner of your eye, turning to glance. It was Nanami.
Nanami comes out, trying to push you away, but instead, your father shoots him, making you scream. "Nanami!!" you tried to fall from your father's arms, but he held you up. Gojou swallowed the lump in his throat. This was no place to cry.
Finally, you fell to the ground and your dad let you, but he kept the gun pointed at you. "No, no, no," you sob, the blood pouring from his head. "Nanami."
The blood had reached your feet and you leaned against his chest, sobbing.

also, the pregnancy thing. I'm not doing it because you don't like it either, or because you don't like kids. the only reason I'm not doing it is that it doesn't fit the plot. if I write a book 2, they will probably have at least one kid at the end because they are both adults. and that's life and it happens when you're happy and gojou already said he wanted a kid.
book 2 more than likely won't happen, so it's okay :)
anyway, have a good day. don't forget to vote, comment, and follow me! you're welcome for double updating
