"Thank you." You nod and pull away from your mother. "I'll see you soon."
She watches as you make sure they're all where they need to be safe.
You now know the crazy backstory behind your father and why he hated Gojou so much. It doesn't really matter now, but it does help you understand why.
The kids are down there with them, and they're experienced with a lot. So, if anything were to happen, you know they would be able to protect themselves.
"Wait, I'm not staying. I can't stand knowing that you're going to risk your life when I've done nothing to help." She states. Her mind is made up, and she walks past you.
"Kei, come on. If anything happened to you..." you're looking at her as she turns slightly.
You sigh, giving up and walking forward. You can't look back, knowing you'll feel worse about leaving them down here.
Walking up the stairs you head straight for the door and Kei follows closely behind. As you open the door, your eyes widen, coming face to face with another man.
Your hand connects to his palm. He stopped your punch. Kei tries to grab the gun in your holster, but the guy begins to speak. "Okay, let's not get carried away."
"And why is that? We don't even know who you are or what your intentions are." You say.
He tilts his head. "That is true. However, I'm here to help you. My name is Hiromi Higuruma. I know who and where Satoru Gojou is. I was asked to help you."
He knows where Satoru is. Without even thinking, you pull your dagger out and push him against the wall, the dagger to his throat. Higuruma shows no emotion, he stares down at you as you stare back at him. "Where is he?"
Kei places a hand on your shoulder, which makes you tense up a bit at first. You then pull the dagger away.
"He's not in the country. And it seems like everybody is trying to keep it a secret that you're alive." He explains briefly, adjusting his collar. "But I'm not sure if he's aware you're alive."
You don't want to trust this man at all. Getou was one of the ones you felt like you could trust, and he is stabbing you in the back. He never was a friend.
"So they don't want him to know I'm alive. Have you seen him?" you ask calmly.
He shakes his head. "I haven't. When you keep things to yourself and keep quiet, you may hear more than you think."
You're not sure what to do, and you stand there thinking.
"I have no intention of doing you wrong. Yuuji Itadori came to me and reached out for help. I owed him, so I agreed. Not just that I owe him, but also because I want to help. It's time to put this knowledge to use." Higuruma nods kindly.
Yuuji asked him for help?
You trust him. "Thank you."
"Before we go, I want to give you this," Kei says, taking off her bracelet and handing it to you. "If you take it apart, it's a knife."
To demonstrate how to get the knife part out, she pulls it apart, showing you. "It's small, but a knife is a knife."
Getou gave it to her as a gift.
You take it and nod.

Gojou's phone begins ringing and he picks it up without looking at the caller ID. "Hello?" he speaks.
"Satoru." It's Getou.
Gojou's eyes suddenly widen at his voice.
"I need you to come back to Japan. I'm dealing with a lot over here. I can't get to them right now, but even Yuuji, Nobara, and Megumi are in danger. Somebody has locked them downstairs." Getou is staring at the wall, his voice filled with panic.
"Text me where I need to be, I'm coming." He immediately hangs up.
Packing what he has, which isn't much, he heads to his private jet. Since he knows about Getou's secret, what if he has actually done something to them? And is using them as bait to lure him in.
Gojou is upset.
His one and only best friend. When they were younger, he never expected things to go this way. Gojou feels weak. He then begins believing that he won't be able to kill him if it comes down to it.
He's mad now, feeling weak. Maybe he should just stop caring about anything at all.
Getou smiles knowing that he'll be able to kill you in front of Gojou after you two reunite. Or perhaps, you never will reunite and Getou will just kill you and show off your dead body.
Only time can tell.
