You woke up groggy and grabbed your phone to see the time, vision taking a few seconds to focus on the bright screen.

8:13 am.

Well at least that crying session last night didn't totally fuck up my sleep schedule.

You stared at the ceiling for a moment, before realizing slowly that there was a presence next to you that wasn't usually there. Turning to your side slightly, the figure of a sleeping Shinsou was cozied up next to you.

He actually stayed...and slept.

"Hey Shinsou." You tried shaking his elbow first but that didn't work. "I'm going to make some coffee. Do you want some? Did you sleep okay?" You raked your hand through his hair to assist in waking him up again, that seemed to work fine. His eyes slowly opening, raking over your figure a few times to understand where he was. After a second, he found your gaze and gave you a small grin, finally recalling everything. Which you returned gladly, since he'd done so much for you.

"Yeah I'll take a mug, I actually slept for once too. Which almost never happens, I rarely sleep 3 hours in a row and I'm never able to fall asleep again right after." That made you even happier than you already were, not only did he help you, but it seemed you did the same for him.

You climbed over his legs and down the bed. Making two cups of coffee, one with cream and sugar for you and one black for him. In that process, he had made his way off of the bed and was now sitting at his desk. You handed him the mug and enjoyed the hot drink in a comfortable silence. Staring out the window since you'd left the blinds open from the day before.

It was a slow morning. After your normal morning routine, you asked Shinsou what he had planned; He didn't have any plans. Which was great for you, since you had something scheduled for the two of you.

"Great, I was wondering if you could help me with a little photo shoot. I wanted to have photos that actually included me in them, on campus, for an assignment to my intro video production class assigned. I already made the short video, but for the credits I wanted to have a picture of me that isn't a selfie or from high school...That was terribly explained, but I just need you to be my photographer for like 30 minutes." After the rambling, you took a deep breath and basically begged him silently until he said yes. Which wasn't actually that hard, since he didn't have anything better to do.

It was perfect weather outside, not too sunny but still bright out. The lighting was apparently perfect, according to the man taking your pictures.

You were on top of a wall with the name of your college on it, before you jumped down after Shinsou announced he got the perfect shot. When he was showing it to you on his camera, your eyes lit up. In the past, you had never really loved yourself in photos, but something about the way Shinsou captured a moment was special. Maybe it was because you could tell he was taking this seriously, that he liked doing it, that made everything more comfortable. Or maybe it was because, as a child, no one ever bothered much to point a camera your way. Except, now, he did.

"Wow!" It was genuine shock on your part. "Thank you. I don't think I have ever looked good in a photo until now. It will be perfect for my video." You gave him a hug which made him stiffen, but after a second he returned the action haphazardly.

An unknown voice interrupted your attempt to get him to hold on a little tighter.

"Hey, excuse us, we couldn't help but notice you guys and were wondering if you upperclassmen could help us around campus." The cheerful voice matched the look of the person speaking. A darker skinned girl with a pink afro stood before you with a redhead and blonde. But her question took you off guard.

"Oh I'm sorry, we are 1st years too. Do we look like we know what we're doing? Because that is one of the best compliments I think I have ever gotten from a stranger." You let out a small chuckle with the response.

"Oh, no I'm sorry, you guys looked so comfortable with each other and the campus that we just assumed you were." A light blush took to your face, you knew it, the familiar heat on your cheeks.

Did she think we were a couple or something? Do we look that friendly already? Is that okay?

"Anyway, maybe you could still help us, we are trying to find the All Might Theatre, do you know where it is?"

"Oh yeah, actually. It is just north a bit and on the left. You won't miss it, and if you have time, I would suggest just taking a giant loop tour around the campus so you won't get lost." You noticed that Shinou had just been standing behind you looking at his camera, trying to seem like he was doing something important with it. Probably so he didn't have to talk to them. You introduced yourself first before bringing him into the conversation too. "And this is Hitoshi Shinsou, we live in the Midnight dorm, we're first years just like you." At the mention of his name, the lilac hair that had been covering his face a little, was uncovered as he looked up. He eyed you as if to ask why you even bothered to get to know them.

"Oh for sure! I am Mina Ashido, this is Eijiro Kirishima and Denki Kaminari. Oh! Wait you said you're in Midnight right?! We are too, but in a three person dorm on the 2nd floor. I am guessing you guys are a little higher up? Since you said you don't have any other roommates...Anyway we have to go to a dance club meeting. Here is my number, there is a party for my sorority tonight, you should come, it has the deets on the card."

And with that, they ran off in the direction you guided them towards. You looked at the card and then at the guy next to you.

"Don't even think about it, I am not going to a party." He said with a slight scowl, you wanted to laugh but held it together.

"Oh come on. I want to check it out, but I am not going to go by myself, so you should come with me. Ashido seemed nice and we need to actually meet some people as much as I don't want to either."

"I didn't come here to make friends. I am here for my photography, that's it." His tone wasn't harsh, just serious, as if he actually believed what he was saying.

"Well I can tell you that's a blatant lie, because look at us. We already became friends and we have known each other for what, a week? So...hah! And no offense, but you are could protect me if there were any weirdos at the party so..." That last comment got his interest, he had no interest in going, sure, but he had even less for you to go by yourself.

"Fine, we can go. No promises I am staying for long and if I leave, you do too. And you're not drinking because I don't want to deal with that." Your face started glowing because he actually agreed to it. You had been to a few high school parties that basically your whole grade would be at. In which you would just watch stupid people make stupid decisions, then go home. Not actually making any conversation with anyone, but you enjoyed the party environment nonetheless.

Considering your new plans, the rest of the afternoon was spent eating and figuring out what you were going to wear to the sorority. And in Shinsou's case, taking an hour-long nap too.
