Here I sit in my car while the heavy rain falls without a care. The rain used to soothe me once but now I'm trying to sit here and protect myself from its chilling wrath.
I should just stop procrastinating and do the inevitably and just go in.
Last week wasn't so bad I remind myself, the 'you can do it' motto runs through my head. I scoff at myself.
Why am I here again? Oh that's right, because I need to be. According to them, my positive team of workers, who 'knows what's best for me!'. I used to think I knew what was best for me, once.
That seems like a long time ago, but so does yesterday. My days and nights blur into each other, no break, relentless life that stops for no one.
Right, I'm getting out of the car and I'm going to make a run for it. The massive rain drops are falling and feel heavy on my body, only my head is covered with a grey hoodie. My jeans are soaked by the time I get into the foyer. I pulled my hood off if I wasn't so hooked on the shelter it gives me. I feel like I'm hidden beneath it. So I stand there like a drowned rat, stamping my feet to rid myself of more moisture and I take a deep breathe before I go in....
