Misaki sat at her desk not doing anything but work Mori had assigned her. She heard a knock at the door, then opened to reveal Odasaku. "Hey kiddo, what are you up to?" He asked.
"Nothing really. Mori-san assigned me work to do." Misaki answered.
"I see. Where's Chuuya and Dazai?"
"They're out on a job. The two are probably to just being completely idiots right at this moment." She chuckled.
"I have no doubt about that. But how are you feeling? Are you doing alright without your boyfriend?" He asked.
"Yeah, he called me an hour ago. Seems the two are doing fine. Though they probably aren't happy being around each other." Misaki said.
"They work pretty good together. But they would probably get things done a lot faster if they tried to get along." Odasaku stated.
"They probably would. But that's never going to happen."
Odasaku looked down at the rose on his desk and picked it up. "Who's this from?" He asked.
Misaki looked up from her papers to the rose, then looked back down. "It's from Chuuya. He gave it to me before he left." Misaki answered.
"Is this going to be some tradition between the two of you? Every time he leave, he's going to leave a rose? That's pretty cute." He commented. He put the rose back down on the desk and his hands in his pocket. "Will you two be doing anything for New Years?"
"I'm not sure. It depend on when he comes back." She answered. "Hopefully soon."

"Stop touching me."
"I'm not touching you."
"Stop touching me."
"I'm not touching you."
"Touch me again and I'll break you finger." Chuuya threatened.
Dazai sighed, before putting down his finger. "You're quite a buzz kill."
"And you're just a suicidal idiot. Cant you take this job seriously for once? That faster we get this done the faster I could go home to Misaki." Chuuya muttered.
"The relationship you both have is disgusting." Dazai judged.
"You only hate it because you hate me."
"Exactly." Dazai said while holding up finger guns. Chuuya rolled his eyes and turned away from the taller boy. "Why do you want to go back home so early?" He asked.
"New Years is right around the corner, I want to spend it with Misaki. But if we don't finish this in time, I won't get to see her." Chuuya explained. He turned around to Dazai and saw the evil grin plastered on the boys face. "Don't even try me you idiot."
Dazai groaned in disappointment. The two continued walking in silence, Dazai wanting so badly to mess with the boy. But he started to notice that Chuuya might have been a little too quiet.
The two turned the corner and walked through the long alleyway. That's when Dazai decided to speak up. "You look like you have a lot on your mind, is there something you're thinking about?" He asked.
Chuuya sighed. "Does Misaki not have any other family out there? Or has she been stuck with you all these years?" Chuuya asked.
Dazai glared at the shorter boy before answering. "She has her grandparents. But she has met seen or heard from them ever since she was brought here. You could ask her more about it. But she doesn't like to talk about it." Dazai explained.
