All three boys stood at the door for ten minutes. Odasaku and Dazai holding a present each. Dazai held a cupcake, it was tradition. He usually placed it at her desk way early in the morning, before she would arrive. But it was already ten in the morning.

Odasaku held a small envelope with some cash. He was never sure of what to get her, so he always gave her cash in hopes she would use it for herself.

As for Chuuya, he was honestly more anxious. All three were to scared to open the door. They didn't want to suddenly find her in her little spot again. Kinda like every other year.

"Chuuya, open the door." Dazai whispered.

"What, no." Chuuya whispered back.

"Chuuya, do it." Odasaku commanded.

"I'm not opening the door. Why should I?" Chuuya whisper yelled.

"Because you're her boyfriend." Dazai answered.

"What the hell are you three doing?"

The three felt a sudden chill crawl up their spine. They turned around and spotted Misaki staring at them with a questioning look.

"Uh well..."

"Whatever, Dazai, you're buying me breakfast. And Odasaku, you're buying me lunch." She said.

"What about me?" Chuuya asked, pointing to himself.

"You're buying me dinner obviously." She said.

"But why aren't-"

"Shut up and let's go." She interrupted Dazai. She grabbed his ear and started pulling him away.

It seemed like she didn't want to talk about it. She was most likely holding the urge to suddenly hold into the closet. But she's suddenly able to hold herself together and finally spend some time with her loved ones.

"Is this okay for her? I mean, as happy as I should be, I can't help but still be a bit worried." Chuuya said.

Odasaku gave a small smile. "Pretty sure she's having trouble, which is why it's our job to make her enjoy her time for once. And this would be a great time for you to go get her present maybe." He suggested.

"Shit." Chuuya muttered. "I spent so much time panicking about what was gonna happen today, I kinda forgot to get her something." He panicked.

"Well hurry up. You don't have all day."

After her breakfast with Dazai, the two walked around for a bit before she head to lunch with Odasaku. He let her pick a place to eat of course. And she didn't hesitate to get soba.

"You seem to be enjoying your time." Odasaku commented.

Misaki nodded her head.

"But you're still fighting the urge to go back, huh?" He asked.

Misaki hesitantly nodded her head. "I know I'm getting better, but it all still kinda hurts." She said.

"Of course it does. But the fact that you were able to leave the stupid office is a big step."

Misaki nodded her head again, then took another slurp of her soba. "You all seemed pretty nervous standing outside my office."

Odasaku scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Well we weren't sure if you were in there or not. We didn't want to bother you if you did happen to be in there." He said.

The two it in silence for a bit longer. After finishing up their food, the left the restaurant and started making their way to see the kids. "I'm quite happy seeing you out for once. I'm sure the kids will be happy to see you."

"They're probably going to smother you in a bunch of hugs." Misaki said.

"Most likely. So have fun with that."

Chuuya walked around town with Dazai by his side. He want to be alone, but Dazai insisted on tagging along. So Chuuya couldn't help but be annoyed the whole time.

"What an amazing boyfriend, buying his girlfriend a present last minute." Dazai smiled.

"Shut up, I was panicking!" Chuuya shouted.

"We all were. But I still got her that cupcake."

"You got it for her last minute as well." Chuuya scolded.

"You got me there." Dazai shrugged. "Do you even know what you're going to get her?" He asked.

"If I'm completely honest, not really. She's not the type of person to ask for stuff. But I'll feel guilty if I don't bring her something." Chuuya admitted.

"True, which is why I always stuck with a cupcake." Dazai smiled. Chuuya rolled his eyes.

Passing by a random store, Chuuya looked through the window and saw a familiar toy. It was a stuffed bunny. The same stuffed bunny that he had found in Misaki's house. But it was pure white. There wasn't any dried up blood or dirt. Not even a spec of dust.

"Looks like something caught your eye." Dazai stated.

"Would would she think if she saw this?" Chuuya asked. "She's most likely hate me for it, huh?"

"I can't say for sure. In my opinion, I think she'll love it." Dazai said. "She doesn't have anything that reminds her of her parents. She left everything that night. Maybe having one thing to remember would make her quite happy."

Chuuya looked at the bunny a bit longer, then let out a sigh. "Its weird when you give good advice. I don't know whether to like it or not."

"It's because I'm so amazing." Dazai bragged.

"Shut up."
