A whole god damn week of them not seeing each other. Chuuya had been on that job for a whole damn week, and haven't seen Misaki in all that time. He was going insane. He wanted to look into her eyes, hold her hands, hear her voice. But the world decided he needed to be punished for some reason. He was really hating the world right now.
"Why the hell does something chaotic have to happen every god damn day!? This is bullshit!?" He screamed in anger.
He thought about the night of her birthday. How he held her hand, touched her cheek, held her in his arms. How she desperately grabbed onto his arm to prevent him from leaving. Chuuya wanted to do it again. He wanted to be around around her, to hold her, to just hear her voice gods sake.
He began hitting the side of his head for no reason. As if that was going to do anything. "Why the hell am I like this?" He questioned.

It wasn't just Chuuya going insane. Misaki had spent the whole week feeling empty without Chuuya. She wanted to so badly see him again. But his job was taking a lot longer than expected.
"You look bored." Dazai said.
"I am." She muttered.
"Aww, is Misa-chan missing Chuuya?" He teased. "I honestly don't know what you see in him. He's way to short and annoying. You could definitely do better. Find a taller guy. And someone less annoying."
"Not happening."
"Just a suggestion." Dazai sighed.
He looked at the girl sitting across from him. Her head laid on her desk as she looked out the window looking at the other buildings. "You don't show it, but you're definitely going insane." He commented.
"I don't know why I want to see him so badly. One second we were together, and the next he was suddenly gone because Mori-san made him leave. Why is it taking so long?" Misaki asked.
"I'm pretty sure Mori-san has something up his sleeve for the two of you. Not sure what it is, but there's something." Dazai said.
"So he purposely sent him on a mission to distract him or something?" Misaki asked.
"Maybe. But it's Mori-san, I usually never know what that man is up to." Dazai said truthfully. "But I know it's gonna work. It always does."

Two days later, and Chuuya had finally finished it all. So you bet his ass that he tried his best to get back to the Port Mafia as quickly as possible. Even when using his ability, the boys was so out of breath. The thought of Misaki waiting for him was on his mind the whole time.
He reached the Port Mafia not long after. Bursting through the doors, he ran as fast as he could towards Misaki's office. He couldn't wait any longer. He needed to see her, to hear her, to hold her.
It was as if he was finally going to confess his feelings for her if he saw her standing right in front of him. In his head, that didn't seem to be a bad idea. But also, he wasn't really thinking. His whole mind was filled with an image of Misaki.
Reaching the doors, he held his breath as he reached for the handle. He then opened the door, only to find it completely empty. She wasn't there.
He fell to his knees and laid on the floor, breathing heavily from how exhausted he was. Dazai then came into the room, standing over the redhead and looking at him in disgust. "What the hell are you doing in here?" Dazai asked, glaring at Chuuya.
"Where...where...is she?" Chuuya asked in between breaths.
"Mori sent her on a job yesterday. If only you had finished sooner, then you wouldn't have missed her." Dazai teased.
