Your P.O.V

We all stepped into the elevator. After everyone was in, the doors of the elevator closed again automatically and the elevator started to move down slowly. The atmosphere between all of the surviving students was heavy. No one dared to say a word. I mean, it could be over for all of us any second, well except the real killer of course. But we also could succeed and only the killer will get executed. But to be honest, I didn't want to see anyone executed, not even the killer. The time during the elevator moved down was pure torture but eventually, it stopped and the doors opened up again. Now what happens next laid in our all hands. All of us stepped outside of the elevator and were greeted by Monokuma. "Take place where your name stands on", Monokuma let out. I soon found myself between Kyoko and Mondo, facing my brother who was across of me. I took a deep breath before the class trial eventually started.

"Can I ask something before the class trial starts?", Celeste asked. "What is it?", Monokuma let out, slightly annoyed. "Why is there a 16th seat?", Celeste asked as response. "There are only 15 of us", Celeste added. "Nothing in particular, it just means that up to 16 people can participate in class trials", he answered. "Well Well, now let's get the funny part started, shall we?", he added.

The discussion started and we found out that Sayaka apparently fled into the bathroom after being attacked in the bedroom. "So the murder weapon was a dagger, right?", Mondo let out. "No, that's wrong! After I took a look at the corpse, I looked into the kitchen. Usually, there hang multiple kitchen knives on the wall but when I looked at them after the murder happened, one of them was missing", Makoto let out as reply. So that was why I recognized this knife. "So she was killed with a kitchen knife, but what's your point? Makoto is still the killer", Leon let out. "Y- Yeah he is r- right, the crime took p- place in Makoto's r- room after all", Toko let out. "But we don't know that yet, it's pretty dumb to jump into conclusions, don't ya think?", I let out. "Yeah, they are right, jumping into conclusions before the debate had ended is pretty foolish, if we get the wrong person, we all will be executed after all", Kyoko let out, agreeing to me.

And well, we were right. The more we discussed, the more I believed Makoto. He couldn't possibly have been in the cafeteria. Hina was there too and to team up would be pretty dumb. And soon, Monokuma admitted that there wasn't anyone who teamed up. But if it wasn't Makoto- who could it have been then? After it was said that Sayaka had taken the knife out of the kitchen, they jumped into conclusions again. "But can you say for sure that Makoto is really the culprit?", Kyoko let out. "What the hell are you talking about?", Mondo asked. "I mean, that in Makoto's room, there wasn't a single hair. If he really was the culprit, why would he clean up his hair since it was his room?", Kyoko let out. Well, she was not wrong- And apparently, the door nameplates got swapped which explained why in the Monokuma file stood that her corpse was discovered in Makoto's room even though when I searched for both of them, the door nameplate said that it was Sayaka's.

Suddenly, we found out about the dying message Sayaka left. Since on her left finger, she had blood on it, the numbers behind her must have been written by her. "The between the number of 11, there is a thin but still noticeable line. So it didn't mean 11, It mean N. "But what is N037 supposed to mean?", Sakura asked. "Well, if you put the Numbers upside down, you notice that she wrote the killer's name", Kyoko let out. "So if you put turn it 180 degrees, you get the name.. Leon!!!", Makoto let out. "What?!", Leon and I let out simultaneously. Please.... Don't let this be true... Not Leon.. Not my brother... "You heard right. It's not just a coincidence, if you turn the letters to 180 degrees, you get Leon", Kyoko let out. "And when you stabbed Sayaka, your shirt must have been blood stained. So you burned it in the trash room, that's why a piece of the sleeve of the shirt which was half burned and blood stained laid on the ground", I let out, still quite shocked. "And you used Yasuhiro's glass ball to switch it on, that's why the shards were on the floor- It may seem difficult to throw it that far but you're the ultimate baseball star after all, so it shouldn't have been a problem for you", Makoto let out. The more the others talked, and the more they argumented against my brother, the more I realized what was going on.

"Wh- What?! No! It wasn't me!!!", Leon let out yelling. I wished I could have believed him but everything fitted so perfectly together. Especially after Makoto told us what exactly happened, I had to believe Makoto. It hurt to vote him, well, he was my brother after all. I grew up with him my whole life and even though he annoyed me sometimes, he still was my brother. I didn't want him to get executed. I didn't want anyone to get executed or killed. "You were right, it was Leon!", Monokuma let out.

We all backed away from our kind of seats. I saw Leon coming up to me. "Listen Y/N, I'm sorry-", he let out. "Why are you sorry?", I interrupted him. "You just wanted to get out of here like everyone else here", I added. "I know but- I failed- Miserably", he replied. I didn't exactly know how to react and what to say so I just hugged him. I felt him hugging me back. "Do me a Favor and don't be as stupid as me. You can actually make it out of here, so promise me you will make it out alive", he let out. "I'll give my best", I answered him as both of us backed away. "Now it's punishment time!!", Monokuma let out as he pressed a red button in front of him.

Soon, a chain was wrapped around his neck. He reached his hand out and I tried to grip it, though, it was too late. The chain pulled him out. His hands moved towards the thing around his neck and tried to pull it off as he got pulled out of the courtroom. A wall opened, releasing a kind of gate in front of us. The room behind the gate looked like a baseball field. I soon saw Leon getting pulled towards that thing where the points of the teams got shown. He got tied up at that thing that he couldn't move. Was this really going to happen? Or was it just a really bad joke? As some light baseballs got fired at him, I realized it all was real. What was this kind of sick world? Why was this happening and why to us? The baseballs got more and more and harder and harder, hitting his neck, his heart and his whole body. Tears rolled down my cheek as the machine which fired the baseballs stopped and the last ones fell to the ground, loads of blood on them, leaving my brother's dead body tied up. I wiped away some tears.

He was gone..
