The second floor

Your P.O.V

He was gone ... 

And there wasn't a single thing I could do about it.. Now I only still had Mondo as a good friend. Though I wished I could have kept Leon from killing Sayaka. But it was too late. After the class trial was over, I headed towards my room. I locked the door and the first thing I did was throwing myself onto my bed and I started to cry. Nighttime soon got announced but I didn't really care. I haven't even gotten my jacket back. I got it to my birthday from Leon and I really liked it. But ever since I put the jacket over Junko's corpse, I haven't gotten it back. I wonder where it is. Well that didn't really matter. I put off the lights in my room and laid myself back down in my bed. I rolled up the blanket and took it in my arms. I wiped the last tears away and closed my eyes while slowly drifting off to sleep. 

In the next morning, I woke up from Monokuma's daily morning announcement. I woke up with large headache and opened my eyes. I slowly sat up and went into the bathroom, quickly brushing through my hair and brushing my teeth before heading towards the dining hall. Some people already were there. I sat myself down next to Mondo since he was the only one I knew and somehow trusted. "Good Morning Y/N, how are you?", Hina asked me, exactly knowing how I felt after yesterday. "I'm alright I guess", I let out. "You're lying", I heard Byakuya saying from the table behind us. Mondo turned around to him. "GOD DAMN HOW CAN SOMEONE BE FINE AFTER HAVING TO WATCH THEIR BROTHER BRUTALLY EXECUTED ?!", Mondo yelled out to him. Byakuya chuckled at this and the others slowly joined us in the dining hall. When we all were in the dining hall, we decided to look around the school a little more. 

After the breakfast, we all stood up and started to look around. I discovered that the gate in front of the stairway was gone now and so I went up these stairs towards the second floor of Hope's Peak Academy. I headed towards a purple door and saw that it seemed to be the pool. As I just headed into the locker rooms, Monokuma appeared and explained to all of us, so Hina, Chihiro, Celeste and me how the locker rooms worked and then disappeared again. "Hey Y/N, there finally is a pool!", Hina let out. "Does any of you want to go swimming with me?", she asked. "Sorry but I think I'll pass", I replied. "Oh alright- What about you Chihiro?", "Sorry I don't want to right now", Chihiro answered. "And I hate it when my face gets wet", Celeste replied calmly. "Aww man, swimming alone isn't as fun as with others. Well, I guess I'll have to wait a little more", Hina replied. 

I soon headed out of the room before the locker rooms and continued to head along. I noticed a library and so I stepped inside. Kyoko, Hifumi and Byakuya were there. We found an envelope with a letter inside and a broken laptop but nothing really more. After that, I headed out of the library and headed along the second floor. A room had suddenly caught my interest. I went inside of it and it looked like a music room. (We all know that the music room isn't in 2nd floor but we'll just pretend it was hehe). I looked around the room. There were multiple instruments. There were drums, a piano, some flutes but most importantly E-GUITARS! Hell yes! I headed towards the end of the room, sitting down on a chair. I grabbed the E-Guitar and plugged it in. I searched for a Blackdrum but there wasn't any so I just played with my fingers. I searched for a good song in my head and decided to do Enter Sandman of Metallica. I played along some time and it was really fun to play after a long time and a good way how to spend my time after I watched my brother being executed. 

Mondo's P.O.V

I just headed up the stairs of the second floor. Nobody was in the hallway and so I looked around a little. I went into the pool but there wasn't anything special. As I went out of the Pool, I heard a strange noise. What was that? I headed towards the end of the hallway where that noise was coming from and noticed another room. It was slightly open but not much. I pushed the door open a little more and entered it, soon hearing the melody of Enter Sandman from Metallica. I looked towards the end of the room to see Y/N playing on a guitar. Well, they were the ultimate Guitarist, so it didn't really wonder me. "Enter Sandman? Sounds nice", I let out, making them stop and slightly shrug together. "Oh, hey Mondo, I haven't heard you coming", they let out. 

Your P.O.V

I suddenly heard someone talking which made me shrug together shortly. I immediately stopped playing and looked in front of me to see Mondo. After a short conversation, he sat down next to me. "Playing guitar is a good distraction from what had happened yesterday", I let out. "That's understandable, I man- I lost my older brother too", Mondo let out. "Wait what?", I let out. "Yeah. His name was Daiya and he was the leader of the biker gang before me. Together we were the crazy diamonds- until one day, he got involved in an accident and died", he replied. "I'm so sorry, that must have been aweful", I answered. "It was", he replied slightly raising his voice. A short amount of time in silence has passed until I randomly started to play another song again. It was better than just awkward silence. I started to play Pain from ThreeDaysGrace from the start. "Pain from ThreeDaysGrace?", Mondo let out. "Yep", I replied with a slight smile. I continued to play along multiple songs until it was time to go. "Monokuma probably won't bother if I borrow this", I let out while taking the guitar with me. Mondo and I had grown closer to each other today and it was a lot of fun to spend some time with him as distraction to what happened yesterday.

 I headed towards my room, setting the guitar down. I let myself fall down on my bed. I took a deep breath. I may was in a life or death situation I couldn't escape from. I may have lost my brother and I may won't be surviving until the end or not getting out of here like Leon wanted. But at least I could play some guitar. It was my passion and I loved it. I really am sorry for all of my fans that I suddenly disappeared without saying anything and maybe not even being able to come back. This was a nightmare for sure. But as long as I still had Mondo and was able to play some of my favorite songs on the guitar while Mondo sat next to me. I enjoyed the time when we hung out together like that.
