Note: This occurs three months after their tasks in Alaska.
Aphrodite was happy Percy Achilles freaking... Jackson! had finally awoken from his horrible ordeal.
She was going to punish the Hunt for their horrible deeds towards her Percy, it was not going to be severe like the rest of the Olympians punishments as Percy would not approve of it at all but they would be punished nonetheless.
Now you would think that Aphrodite was just a loose woman who just loved her appearance, putting both men and gods under her spell and sex but that was far from the truth, she understood and friendship and companionship between two people which if handled correctly would lead to love. She understood that it was best for some people to remain friends, for instance in Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson's case her pride be to the best Architect in the world by designing the best buildings in the world taking Olympus for example, would not allow her to fully commit to a lasting relationship, so it was better they remained friends.
Now you may think that since she had a thing with Ares, why then would she go after Percy? The truth was that while Ares was married to Enyo he like his father in his younger days chased after many women, hence he saw her as a trophy he had to acquire for himself and so far he had not been successful but he was relentless but she also did not care. As far as she was concerned he could continue trying to get her for as long as he wanted, however, it was futile because she would only fall for whoever she wanted e.g. the mortal Shepard Anchises in Ancient Greece by whom she had a son Aeneas but tragically had to leave in order that Zeus did not smite him whenever he found out that she conceived a son by him.
In Hephaestus case, they were on good terms as friends and peers on the Olympian council, therefore, it was mutually agreed that they would be a married couple until he found a loving wife for himself and the good thing was that Ares feared Hephaestus since the domain of fire was as dangerous as the domain of War even though they complimented each other, hence since she was with Hephaestus Ares would not dare to come near her at all.
Eventually after millennia of waiting and searching Hephaestus found true love with Algaea, the youngest of the Greek goddesses known as the Graces. The ruse still held on Olympus and at certain times on Earth to keep Ares at bay, of course, they had Algaea's blessing.
Seeing that Hephaestus would not be always there to protect her, she obtained a restraining order from Zeus against Ares with the condition that if he defied the order he would lose his immortality.
Note: She could take on him on her own and defeat him soundly as she the strongest Olympian asides from Hestia as she was the last Titan born of Uranus. She simply submitted herself to Zeus rule like Hestia because over time he had come to be known as the father of all Olympian gods.
As for her last mortal lover, Tristan McLean McLauren, deep down she could not really say she genuinely loved him like the others before him because he reminded her too much of the false façade she wore, although Piper McLean McLauren her daughter with Tristan, was her favorite.

Presently
She out of courtesy told Artemis first before she acted so as not to spook her when she suddenly found her hunters gone.
Sneaking into the Hunt's camp, she put them to sleep before removing their memories of being hunters though she kept their blessings from Artemis to enable them defend themselves if they were attacked by monsters.
Also she placed them around New York so that she adequately observe them.

4 Years Later
Note: They are old enough now
They had found jobs across the city, made comfortable lives for themselves, met and fell in love with good men who knew nothing of their past as hunters. Some were even engaged and in the process of preparing for their weddings, that was the time Nemesis in the form of Aphrodite decided to strike. She called them and their respective partners under the guise of lending her support towards the success of their nuptials, but instead she revealed their pasts. There and then, the weddings were called off as they were disgusted at the thought of their wives being life long hunters/maidens who had sworn off men and also they were scared of what their mistress would do to them once she found out, hence they did not want to take the risk.
Appalled at the turn of events, they reminded them(their men) that they did not know that they were hunters when they met them at first, so why would they reject them now for something that was in the past.
Aphrodite then reminded them that they were still hunters to which they responded that they did not care about it anymore and would give up everything they had to remain where they were with the men they loved, consequences be damned!
She then told them they should not just paint every single man they come across with the same brush I.e. every man is a savage and vile, but they should observe his actions before they acted because even the women they stood up for against the men could be just as bad or even worse.
Finally, she gave them the choice to return back to the Hunt. 400 of the 900 that underwent the test stayed back while 800 returned, however, from now on they would look before they leapt, henceforth they vowed that:
1. They would judge a man by his actions and not his gender.
2. They would only punish vile men.
Thereafter, she returned them to the Camp while carrying a message to Artemis of their decision to leave the Hunt for those who did which she mournfully accepted, mournfully because she would miss them a lot.
She gave them a parting gift, such that if they chose rebirth and wanted to rejoin the Hunt, they could say her name wherever they were and they would be claimed immediately.

That phase complete, Aphrodite turned her attention to the one thing she had wanted to do for so long which was be with Perseus as absolutely nothing else was stopping her now. However, she was going to bide I.e. She did not mind if she was the last to join them because she believed in the adage "Go hard or go home". Her own revelations would be far deeper than just children as it went as far back as the time when he had not even discovered that he was a demi-god or found the Camp.
They say liked to create drama right?, Well this one was going to be the biggest they had ever seen even dwarfing the Apple of fiasco.
All they had to do was wait and watch.
In the meantime, she would watch patiently to see how they revealed their own secrets to him as well his reaction, which was the most important part.
