"Hiccup?" Astrid could do nothing but stare at the box her boyfriend held in his hand.

"Astrid, relax. It's not a ring." He opened the box, revealing a small heart-shaped necklace.

"You got me a locket?"

"Well, a ring seemed a little too traditional for us." He explained.

"You're not wrong." She chuckled.

"Astrid, this was my father's engagement gift to my mother." He explained. "And he gave it to me, to give to you." Hiccup lifted the necklace. Astrid spun around and lifted her hair allowing Hiccup to put the locket on. "Astrid, you're a part of our family. You always have been. And I hope you always will be."

"Hiccup, it's beautiful."

"Astrid, I meant what I said. I'm not going anywhere. It's you. It's always been you. Now, I know we have a lot going on, so, you don't have to answer right now. But, I want you to know that when you're ready. I'm gonna be right here." He gazed into her eyes. She let out a small sigh.

"Hiccup, right now, I'm confused about everything in my life, except you." She explained. "You are the only thing that makes sense to me anymore. And I don't wanna spend my life with anyone else."

"Astrid Hofferson, will you marry me?" Hiccup popped the question.

Astrid smiled from ear to ear. She brushed her fingers through his hair tucking it behind his ear. She led his face to hers and placed a gentle kiss on his lips.

"Yes." She bit her lip in excitement. "But, after."

"After?" Hiccup wondered.

"Ask again, after the baby comes." She suggested.

"I can live with that."

Hiccup and Astrid ventured into the clubhouse at lunch to meet up with the gang, who all had a free period.

"Someone's looking better?" Fishlegs mentioned, gesturing to Astrid, who was wearing her favorite outfit. Black ripped skinny jeans, plaid skirt, Long sleeved red shirt, and brown jacket.

"Yeah, I feel pretty great today. So, let's not jinx it." Astrid pleaded.

Before she could sit down, Heather jumped up and grabbed Astrid's wrist, pulling her out of the treehouse.

"You guys are good now right?" Heather asked. Her curiosity was peaked.

"We're great." Astrid bit back her smile.

"Okay, spill." Heather glared. "What happened?"

"We talked," Astrid stated. "And cuddled."

"Then what?"

"Then he started singing to the baby." She explained.

"He does know the baby can't hear him for another three months, right?" Heather chuckled.

"I don't care, it worked." Astrid giggled. "Then... he proposed."

"He what?!" Heather bounced with joy.

"Shhh..." Astrid warned.

"You guys are getting married?" Heather whispered.

"Not yet," Astrid explained. "After the baby comes. There's just too much going on right now. With college and the baby, and Stoick."
