Emma had been feeling jealous and left out when her three roommates had started dating. Especially since Ollie was spending less time with her. One day Ollie was up late at night and got up to go to the washroom and grab some water, but when they left their room they saw that Emma's light was on and decided to stop by her room on the way back to see if she was okay. They went and knocked on her door and after a second, Emma let them in. The first thing that Ollie noticed was that it looked like Emma has recently been crying, which instantly got them worried, and they asked her what was wrong. At first she just brushes it off as nothing and tries to change the subject, but Ollie goes and gives her a big hug and promises that she can tell them anything at any time and that they are sorry that the two of them haven't gotten to hang out much lately. This causes for Emma to start crying again and she tries to bury into the hug before she admits to feeling left out lately. Ollie apologizes once again and promises that they are going to do better and make sure to make time for Emma. They have missed talking to Emma and being close to her. Ollie then asks if they can stay with Emma for the rest of the night. Emma agrees to letting them stay and they both curl up under the covers and fall asleep in each others' arms. After that night, the two of them started hanging out more again. After a few months Ollie runs into a problem, they are falling in love with Emma. This realization comes about seven months into their partnership with Jack and Tyson. Ollie has now been taken over by thoughts of how nice it would be to be able to be in a relationship with Emma as well as with their current partners. Ollie keeps thinking about the idea of all four of them snuggling up together and sharing soft touches and little kisses, and it makes them feel both very happy and guilty. They feel guilty because they haven't told their partners or Emma about their feelings. After about a week of this going on, Ollie decides that they need to talk to their partners about how they have been feeling.

Ollie, Tyson, and Jack were all cuddled up on the couch for a movie night, and after the movie ended is when Ollie decided to talk to the other two about what has been going on. He was very nervous and didn't want to mess up what the three of them have. After some stammering around and speaking too fast, and with a bit of coaxing from Tyson, Ollie was able to come out with what he wanted to say. He explains that he still loves the two of them very much and is happy with what they have and that he is so, so sorry for doing this to them. But he's been developing feelings for Emma and doesn't know what to do. Tyson is suddenly brought back to a very similar conversation that he had with Jack that started this relationship in the first place. Both Jack and Tyson assure Ollie that they aren't mad at him at all and that its alright. They've just all have to re assess what everyone wants and go from there. Jack and Tyson both are not interested in dating Emma at the moment, but that doesn't mean that Ollie shouldn't be able to. They all then decide to try it where Ollie is partners with Jack, and dating both Tyson as well as Emma, that is if Emma says yes to all of this.

The next day Ollie sits down with Emma and tells her that he's been developing feelings for her and would like to pursue a relationship with her if she is also interested. He also explains that he will still be in a relationship with the other two, so if she doesn't want to do this its fine and makes sense. Emma is a bit hesitant to agree to this because she isn't sure how to feel about dating someone who is in a relationship with two other people. She is interested in dating Ollie though. They decide to try dating and seeing how it goes. As a date they go to a place where Emma can take pictures and Ollie can paint and spend the afternoon together doing their collective arts while talking, listening to music, and enjoying each others company. The peaceful afternoon leaves them both hopeful for the future and excited to see how their relationship will progress.

Once again there is the issue of jealousy. Emma doesn't know how to feel about the fact that her partner is dating and in love with two other people. She feels left out when the three of them go on dates, and then selfish when Ollie spends the rest of the night with her. She tries asking the three of them how their dates go and what they did, but it still makes her feel bad. Ollie ends up feeling torn between the two relationships because she feels like she has to keep them separate and isn't sure how to do that. Two months into dating Emma she ends up sitting all four of them down to talk about it, which they maybe should have done earlier. Ollie explains that she isn't sure if she can keep up having the relationships separate like she's been doing. Its left her feeling like she has no time for herself and like she's somehow cheating on all three of them. Emma expresses that she's been feeling a bit jealous and left out. Tyson has been feeling guilty because of spending so much extra time with Jack when Ollie is with Emma. Jack feels bad because he feels like he's taking up time that Ollie could be with Emma and he doesn't want to be too much for her. Jack adds that he would be interested in adding Emma into their relationship, that is if Tyson is interested as well. Tyson has actually been considering this but wasn't sure how Jack would feel and didn't want him to feel like he wasn't enough for Tyson and Ollie. After discussing boundaries and expectations for what everyone wants, they decide to give being in a partnership with all four of them involved a try. Once Emma is added everything fits more in place. No one feels pulled in several directions and once they all accept that they can't be with everyone all the time and no one has to make sure to get even time with everyone every day it becomes much easier.

They all soon fall into a rhythm of living with and loving each other. The couch in the living room is a pull-out couch that fits all four of them on it for when they all want to sleep in the same bed. Though if anyone for any reason isn't feeling up for it, they can go and sleep in their own bed as well, or they can leave throughout the night if they want to with no hurt feelings in the morning. Well maybe a little bit. Tyson may demand snuggles in the morning for compensation. But that's all a fee everyone will gladly pay. Tyson and Emma both get up early and will surprise the other two with breakfast in the morning, while Jack and Ollie love to sleep in and take a while to get fully awake in the mornings. Jack and Ollie surprised the other two with dinner one night and it turned out surprisingly well. They have both been trying to work on their cooking skills as a surprise and because they didn't want Tyson and Emma to be the assigned cooks of the house all the time. Emma expresses an interest in knitting and asks Jack for help so that they will have something to do together. She ends up enjoying it but doesn't do it as often as Jack does. Tyson and Emma get into lively debates about various subjects, but they are never mean to each other. the only reason they do it is because they both think its fun and they like seeing the other being passionate about something. Jack and Ollie love to tend to their plants together as well as cuddling up on the couch and watching stupid movies together. Emma and Ollie like to sit and do puzzles together, or Emma will draw while Ollie will paint. Jack and Tyson like to watch movies together or just sitting together while Jack knits and Tyson reads. Ollie has got Tyson to help teach them to cook, and Tyson has gotten Ollie to teach him all the names of the edible plants in the kitchen.

There are still ups and downs to their relationship, but over all they are all happy and in love.
