My take on what IPKKND would be like if Khushi got to go back in time (to a universe where her life starts out slightly different than the original time) from the second wedding track, only Arnav didn't come to the wedding in time because of the acc...

Khushi had taken a cup of chai to the terrace to get a bit of reprieve from the hectic atmosphere of the full house. It was a bit uncharacteristic of her but, ever since she had gone back in time, these moments were at times the only reason her sanity had stayed intact. Keeping a secret this huge had burdened her just as much as the situation had saved her. And, there was only one thing Khushi could do in times like this, talk to her Muma. Well, Arnav's Muma. His mother, whom she had never even known. Yet, a person she felt a great connection with. A person who had loved her Arnavji greatly. The one person who would always look down from the stars to love and protect her Arnavji.
"Muma, mujhe bahaut dar lag rahahe. Pichli bar Arnavji toh mujhse pyaar kar payeh the par, woh mujh par vishvas nahi kar payeh. Aur ab toh mene apni baare main bahaut kuch badal diya hai. Kya woh mujh par vishvas kar payehnge? Mujhse pyaar kar payehnge? Kya humara pyaar itna kamzor tha? Hai Devi Maiya main kya Karu?! (Muma, I'm feeling scared. The last time around, Arnav was able to love me but, he wasn't able to put his trust in me. And now I've changed so many things about myself. Will he be able to trust me? Will he love me again? Was our love too weak? Hai Devi Maiya, What should I do?)" said Khushi, pleading to the stars.
Payal who had just arrived on the terrace happened to hear the last bit of Khushi's monologue. "Kya karna hai tumhe? (What do you want to do?)" asked Payal, taking a seat on the woven chair next to Khushi's.
"Oh Jiji, aap? Woh main toh baas thodi si nervous thi kal ke baare main. Nayi naukri and all that. You know how it goes. Mujhe toh daar hai ki waha keh log mujhe pasand nahi karenge. Yeah, like that Laad Governor. (Oh Jiji, you? I'm just a bit nervous about tomorrow. New Job and all that. You know how it goes. I'm worried the people there won't like me. Yeah, like that Laad Governor.)"
"Arre pagli, essa kabhi ho sakta hai ki humari Khushi kisika dil na jeet le. Waise bhi agar tum samajdari aur lagan se kam karogi toh saab kuch theek rahega. Fikar mat kar, tumhare dushman bhi tumhe pasand karna shuru kar lenge baas waha Jalebi mat banana shuru kar lena. ( My crazy sister, how can you possibly think that you would ever meet a person that you would not charm? And anyway, if you do your work intelligently and with diligence, everything will go smoothly. Don't worry, even your enemies will start to like you, just don't start making Jalebis over there as well.)" teased Payal.
Khushi stood up suddenly, with a reddened face, "Jiji, mujhe cheddo mat. Waise bhi aapne toh abhi tak mujhe Akash jiju se bhi nahi milaya. Maine suna hai ki woh har roz dukhan par atte hai. (Don't tease me, Jiji. Anyways, you still have to introduce me to Akash Jiju. I've heard that he comes to the shop every day.)" she countered, coming to stand behind Payal.
Payal fiddled with her hands, bashfully whispering out an answer, "Unko mithai ka bahaut shauk hai. (He has a fondness for sweets.)"
Khushi leaned over Payal's shoulder and playfully nudged her, "Mithai ka, ke Payal ka? Haan Jiji?! (Does he have a fondness for sweets, or is it for a certain Ms. Payal?!)" before scampering off down the stairs.
