My take on what IPKKND would be like if Khushi got to go back in time (to a universe where her life starts out slightly different than the original time) from the second wedding track, only Arnav didn't come to the wedding in time because of the acc...
From the first month that she had arrived into this new life, Khushi had decided that the best way for Arnavji to trust her would be to have a successful career in design. If she grew up to be a successful Fashion Designer and did it on her own merit, no one would be able to call her greedy and doubt her love for Arnavji. She would also be able to finally have something in common with him, career-wise. She could still hear the taunts and accusations from the failed wedding. They haunted her thoughts and only made her feel more determined to do better this time.
And so, that's what she did. Khushi spent hours every day studying everything to do with Fashion Designing. She also helped her father with his popular Lucknowi sweet shop and slowly learned how to run a business. She spent twelve years learning English and studying diligently to build up a portfolio to apply to Central St Martins in London. She volunteered at whatever fashion-related opportunities she could find and learned how to sew every possible type of garment related to Indian fashion wear. And, she earnestly practiced the Lucknowi chikankari her Payal jiji had taught her in her previous life.
Although her parents were prideful of the many halwais that had come from their ancestry, they full-heartedly supported her dreams of becoming a Fashion Designer. Especially since she showed a lot of interest in traditional Indian design techniques. They also knew that although she was primarily interested in Designing, she could cook extremely well and had taken the time to properly learn the art of making Indian sweets from her parents.
Her bhaiya, Khushal was also groomed to take over over the sweet shop. After four years of completing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a year of internship programs with several different companies in the food industry, he had finally joined the family business three years ago.

Khushi's House in Toronto
As her family's original sweet shop had grown from a small popular sweet shop in Lucknow to a multi-location business in Canada, her family had also moved out of the apartment on top of the original shop in downtown Toronto to a decently sized house near Forest Hill South. Her father was also able to slowly pay off all the loans that they had procured and also help fund the opening of another location in Delhi, which was run by her Bauji and Fufaji. Her Shashi babuji still ran the original sweet shop in Lucknow, which was the one shop that Khushi grew up with, in her previous life. They were by no means rich but, they lived a comfortable debt-free life that many families longed for.
Her cousin, Payal was also involved in running the business back in India and had already started the B.B.A. program at the University of Delhi. Khushi, who had visited India multiple times over the past twelve years and maintained a close relationship with her cousin, had also heard her cousin mentioning a certain friend named Akash Singh Raizada who took the same program as her in Delhi. She had barely been able to stop herself from asking about her Arnavji. But thankfully, she had managed to come across as blissfully ignorant of the future and only slightly thrilled for her cousin's possible romantic prospects. Just as a younger teenage cousin should be.
She knew that within the next year or so Arnavji should be done with his Harvard education and would soon start his own Designing company in Delhi, AR Designs. She would soon be able to watch his company grow to become what it used to be, one of the best Indian Garment and Design companies in the Indian fashion industry. Khushi hoped to apply there in six years as a Fashion Designer specializing in Indo-western designs. Perhaps, if they could meet on more professional and pleasant terms, Arnavji wouldn't be so reluctant to trust her in regards to Shyam and his disgusting intentions.
Khushi also made sure to spend as much time as she could afford with her family. She cherished every moment with family and didn't let them out of her sight on her ninth birthday, July 14th, 1997. That was the day that she had lost them in the previous life. Thankfully, as they were nowhere near a speeding car on the way to Hazratganj, history did not repeat itself.
Almost everything was going well in her life. There was only one thing that she wished she could have changed. Shyam marrying Anjali di. However, as no one would believe the word of a sixteen-year-old teenager living in Canada over a twenty-seven-year-old man who was practically devoted to Anjali di despite her injured foot, Khushi was forced to accept that the situation was out of her hands at the moment. Until the time came to reveal Shyam's despicable habits, all she could do was prepare.
