AR Designs Delhi Branch:
Somehow the ladies had managed to huddle Arnav and Khushi together to the back of the elevator on the way back to the office lobby from the garage parking lot. Using her 'unstable' balance on the ride up, Anjali had 'accidentally' bumped into Khushi who had then stumbled into Arnav's arms. Lavanya and Misha used this opportunity to take a discreet photo for their group chat profile. All of this went unnoticed by Khushi and Arnav who were too lost in each other's eyes, living up their 'rabba ve' moment. The elevator 'ding' broke their moment and jolted them into reality. Realizing, that his Di had lost balance, Arnav asked if she was alright.
"Chote hum bilkul theek hai. Ab batao hum kaha jaye? (Chote, I'm perfectly alright. Now tell me where do I wait?)"
"Di wait for a minute, let me just call Aman. AMAN!"
" Yeh laad governor bhi na Aman bhai ko kitna satate hai. (This laad governor always bothers Aman bhai.)" mumbled Khushi to herself.
"What? Did you say something?" said Arnav, turning towards Khushi.
Khushi pulled the most obviously innocent face and replied, "Nahi toh. Bol toh aap rahe the. (No. It was you who was talking.)"
"I swear I hear-" started Arnav, quizzically before being interrupted by Aman's speedy arrival.
"Yes ASR, what can I do for you?"
"Aman, can you escort Di to confrence room A? We have a meeting with the wedding planners soon. Make sure to escort them there when they arrive. I'll join them in a bit."
The group quickly dispersed from the area, leaving behind Arnav and Khushi. As Arnav started walking to his cabin, he heard her calling him, "Arnavji, rukhye! (Wait, Arnavji!)", making him turn around facing her.
"Hum aapke liye yeh khaana laaye hai. Woh...Woh Anjaliji ne kaha tha ki aapke liye bhi mangwane ko, isi liye. (I brought this lunch for you. Uhh...Uhh, Anjaliji said to get some food for you as well that's why.)" stuttered Khushi, trying to find an excuse.
Arnav stared at her fidgeting for a moment before walking up to her, intensely. He extended his hand forward for the packaged lunch, patiently waiting for her to place it in his hand. When she finally did, he used the opportunity to grasp her wrist to pull her into his arms. He leaned forward, whispering into her ears, "Tumhe mera khayal rakhne ke liye bahane banane ki koi zarurat nahi hai, tumhara hakh hai, Khushi. (You don't have to make excuses to take care of me, Khushi. It's your right.)"
"Hakh? (Right?)" asked Khushi, looking into his eyes.
"Haan hakh. Akir main tumhara boss jo hoon. Mera khayal rakhna tumhara farz jo hain. (Yes, Right. After all, I am your boss. It's your responsibility to take care of me.)", he leaned forward once more, "Thank you, Miss Gupta." Arnav breathed into her ear before giving her a soft peck on the cheek. He used her moment of distraction to leave for his cabin along with the packaged lunch.

"Here you go, Maam. Yeh conference room A hai. (Here you go, Maam. This conference room A.)" said Aman, escorting Anjali inside the room.
"Please Amanji, hume Maam mat bolye. Aap toh Chotte ke parivaar jaise hain. Hume bas Anjali kaiyeh. (Please Amanji, don't call me Maam. You're like family to Arnav. Just call me Anjali.)"
"Theek hai, aap keh rahi hain toh yahi sahi. Waise aapko aapki sagai par bahaut sari shubhakamanaye. (Okay, if you're truly insisting. Anyways, congratulations on your engagement.)"
"Thank you, Amanj-"
"Uhuh, aapko bhi mujhe Aman hi pukarna hoga. (Uhuh, You also have to call me Aman.)"
