unwell.

I woke up the next morning and got ready for my sorcery lesson with Nance. I showered and put on a white shirt with a pink checkered sweater vest over it. I slipped on a black skirt and put my hair into two braids. I put on some white boots and headed out of my dorm.

I met up with Nancy in the Sorcery section. She was wearing a white tank top with an orange butterfly in the middle. She had a white sweater over the shirt, and had blue jeans and white boots similar to mine. "Hey Nance!" I exclaimed. "You excited for our lesson today?"

She gave me an unenthusiastic wave and a slight smile. "Hi Cass. Yeah, I'm real excited."

My friend looked like she had a headache. I'll ask her about that later, I thought. Now doesn't seem like a good time.

Nancy and I arrived in our rooms and I tried to make conversation as Nancy and I unpacked. She just kept muttering, "Yeah....yeah", like her mind was on a whole other planet.

I frowned at her. "Nance. You look unwell. Are you alright? What's wrong?"

She blinked. "Nothing! Just a little tired, that's all!"

I scowled. "Don't lie to me, Bennett. You're not acting like yourself."

"I said I'm FINE!" She snapped. "Lay off, Cass."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever you say. But I know you're lying."

Bennett walked out of our room, not even fully unpacked. She'll tell me what's wrong eventually.

After I finished unpacking, I went to the Sorcery section, where I expected Mr. Kent and Nancy to be waiting, but they weren't there. I ran back to our dorm, and she wasn't there either. Where IS that girl? I thought. Ugh. If only she would tell me what was wrong with her. At least I would have an explanation for her odd behavior.

I ran back to the Sorcery section and only Mr. Kent was there. Still no Nance. "Mr. Kent! I need your help. Nancy is nowhere to be found."

He didn't answer me. I raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Kent. Is everything okay with you?" I questioned.

My sorcery teacher turned around, but he didn't look like Mr. Kent anymore.

He was much taller, so he was towering over me. His eyes were red and glowing, and his skin was stormy grey. He had fire in his hand and he smiled at me menacingly. "There is no more Mr. Kent," he said evilly. "Prepare to die, Cassandra Lemay!"

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Lol, I am SO SORRY if this fic is getting... off topic. It may be a bit prolonged but like it wouldn't make sense if I just left it as it was. And it would be predictable so... yeah. Sorry again
