M.P.V
After quickly running home to grab my art supplies and tell my parents I would be helping out, I jogged back to the amphitheater, Tikki in tow.
"Are you sure you want me to come along?" She asked me as I crossed the street.
"Of course." I replied as I stepped up onto the sidewalk. "I was hoping you could look around while I work on the blueprints, if that's okay with you."
"Sure Marinette!" Tikki smiled, as she flitted around my head. "Maybe being around the amphitheater might jog some memories."
"I hope so." I remarked, as I approached the crumbled building, which was looking a bit cleaner then when I had left.
I soon spotted Luka, who was standing and talking with Alya, who had her notepad out which she was writing vigorously on.
"Who's he?" Tikki inquired, as Luka turned and saw me. He waved at me before he held up what I assumed were the blueprints.
"That's Luka Coffaine." I answered, as I waved back. "He's Juleka's brother."
"Coffaine… Something sounds familiar about that name." Tikki frowned to herself, before she shook her head.
"Who were you talking to Marinette?" Luka questioned as I came to a stop beside him.
"Oh, uh myself." I quickly improvised, as I tried not to give away Tikki. "I talk to myself all the time. It helps me work through ideas for designs and such, so it's completely normal."
Great going Marinette, I thought to myself as I mentally face palmed. Alya gave me a weird look and opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by Luka who smiled happily at me.
"Thank you for putting so much thought into this Marinette!" He spoke, joy apparent in his voice. "It means alot to me!"
I blushed at his praise, and stared down at my feet.
"Oh, you don't have to thank me." I gushed, as I kicked at the ground. "I haven't even started drawing out the new blueprints yet. How do you know if you'll even like them?"
"Of course I'll like them Marinette!" Luka reassured, as I glanced up at him. "Everything you design is amazing."
"Well I've never tried designing a building before." I confessed. "Do you think it's anything like designing a dress or coat?"
"I don't know girl," Alya cut in, "But I'm sure you'll do just fine."
"Thanks Alya." I beamed at my best friend, before I turned back to Luka.
He held out the blueprints for me to take before he gestured to a section of the stage where the rubble had been cleared away.
"I had some of the guys clear you an area for you to work in." Luka professed, as he helped me hop up onto the stage. "I hope it's big enough for you to be able to work in."
"It's perfect, thanks Luka." I replied with a smile.
He stood there awkwardly for a moment, before he cleared his throat.
"Well I better get back to work." He announced, gesturing to where people were cleaning up. "Let me know if you need anything."
"Will do." I assured him.
Luka turned and hopped back down on the stage leaving me alone with Tikki. I watched him go for a moment before I sat down and pulled out the blue prints from my purse, which I unfolded before unrolling the blueprints Luka had given me.
Immediately I spotted differences between them. For one, the spots marked on the blueprints from the secret room either were mislabeled on the copy from Luka, or missing entirely. I counted a total of 5 points mislabeled and 3 spots missing completely.
