Marinette looked into the pouring rain. It was raining ever since this morning she thought. She gave a small smile at the irony. After all, today was the day that Adrian rejected her.

What had happened -

"Adrian wait up!" Mari said while tripping on a rock

Of all days for me to trip...

She looked up to see a very handsome familiar face.

He had emerald green eyes that she could swim in and swoopy hair.

"O-oh hey Adrian!"

"Hey Marinette funny seeing you here."

He looked down at her laying on the dirty floor.

"So, are you okay?" He pondered

"Oh yes, this well I just was giving the floor a hug yea a hug!" The ravenette stammerd.

Adrian chuckled.

Since day one she had been such a good friend to him they just got off on the wrong foot.

"So, you called me here?"

Marinette had chosen a very romantic park in Paris to confess to Adrian usually the sun was shining and the flowers were swaying but today the Sun was hidden and the flowers were swooping.

It just had to rain on the way here.

Perhaps it was the dull scenery that had ruined what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life.

After she confessed she and Adrian were supposed to get married and have emma hugo and-

There was no point in dwelling on that now after all he had rejected her.

"Sorry, Marinette I am in love with another girl."

It had broke her.

He had spent many months obsessing over this boy for what?

A rejection!

She was done.

Done with the unrequited love.

Done with the pain.

Done with the sorrow.

I was done with Adrian.

Well over him at least.
