I woke up. A white ceiling and my wrist tied to the bed. "Skylar!" I whispered looked around. "Skylar!" I called out. There was no reaction. "Skylar!" I shouted again and began to struggle. Is she okay? She didn't get hurt right? She has to be okay! The door opened, Ratchet walked up to me. "Skylar! Where is she? Is she okay? She didn't get shot right? Skylar!" I shouted her name again.

"Sunstreaker! Lay still!" He snapped. "No! Where is she?" I snapped back. "I need to know if she's okay..."
"Why do you care anyway!" He snapped. I grabbed his shirt, "I asked you where she is!" I shouted. I threw him on the floor and pulled twice as hard as I could on the cuffs. All the infuses were ripped from my skin as I got up.

Ignoring the pain, I left the room. "Skylar!" She wasn't here. I headed for Sideswipe's room, maybe she's waiting for me there. She wasn't there. I grabbed a soldier, "where is Skylar!" I sneered. The brown eyes of the soldier widened in shock. "Sunstreaker! Let him go!" Optimus ordered. I sank on my knees, wrapping my arm around my stomach. "Where is Skylar? Is she okay? She didn't get hurt? I tried to protect her... that slaghead started shooting!"

"She's okay, Sunstreaker. She didn't get hurt during the shooting," he said. "Why isn't she here? Does she hate me too? Did the words of her stepsire convince her to hate me too?" I asked. "No, she doesn't hate you at all... come on... it's not a talk for here." Optimus hoisted me up.

He brought me back to the medbay and told Ratchet to leave. From the sink he grabbed a wet cloth and brushed the Energon from my wrist. Due of the force I had used, the metal had cut through my skin. "She's not welcome at the base anymore..." he started. "It's all because of me... people hate her because of me..."

Optimus didn't reply on that. "I didn't want people to hate her too. It's fine if they hate me, but not her."
"She sneaked into the base four days ago... I saw her during my meeting. She passed, but I haven't told anyone about that. Just you..." I sucked in a breath. "Can I call her?" I asked. Prime sighed, "she's not picking up her phone..."

"Why not? Because she's upset?"
"She left her phone at the base and ran off... Sideswipe and I went to visit her. Apparently she fell in a heavy argument with her stepfather. We failed locating her..."
I felt my world spin. Intense hate and anger rose up. How dare they to blame Skylar for my mistakes. To hate her like they hate me. Optimus noticed my anger. "We will find her."

"It's not about that! They don't accept her because of me! That pisses me off! I am going to search for her!" I snapped. "You can't leave." Angered I looked Prime. "Why not?!" I sneered. "You're injuries—" I cut him off. "Frag that!" I snapped. "We will find her, you rest." He stated. "So you can dump me on Diego Garcia? I know about it! My brother told me. As soon as I am recovered I am getting dumped again!"

"I didn't make that call. It's the human government. You're a threat for the humans because of what you did two years ago!" He stated. "And guess what, Prime! I don't regret it all, you have no idea why I did, what I felt. You should thank me instead of getting mad at me! They were planning to blow up the base. They wanted to kill you... I did it to protect you... and you didn't want to listen to me. What happened on the road, when I killed two people on the streets wasn't intentionally. I took the bomb away from the base. People immediately assumed I am a monster and it's fine! If that's what they want to think, but I know the truth and so does Skylar. I did what I have promised, to be loyal to you..."

"No one was aware of that. How did you find out?" He sat besides me. "They were pissing me once, and I scared them. Although, I kept an close eye on one of them. Simply because he kept bothering not just me but also my twin. I overheard their plan... I made screenshots of the note book and I killed them..."

"I am sorry..."
I looked at my right. "If I had know this sooner... what the real reason was behind your attack... none of this would have happened..." he said. "Yeah well, I know that I have mental problems, I am not like the other mechs, I am a psychopath... but I do have norms..."

"You rest... I will talk to Prowl and Lennox. We will find her, I promise." I nodded and laid back down. "She knows the truth... about what really happened that day."
"It's okay, Sunstreaker. Try to rest, I'll send Sideswipe your way to keep you company." I nodded and stared at the ceiling.

Sideswipe came in not too long after and laid besides me. He held me carefully. "I haven't seen you... for two years because I thought you killed for joy and now... why haven't you told me the truth?" He rubbed my head. "It didn't matter. It happened and... I lost my sanity, my joy to live... I was hurt."

He nuzzled in my neck. "I am so sorry... I should have listened to you..." he whispered. "People won't look differently at me. "No matter what will happen, I am a murder. I just want Skylar so badly..." he flashed me a smile. "We will find her... she can't be far right?" He asked. "I hope not... I deeply miss her and I just want to make sure she's okay."

He kissed my cheek. "She'll be fine, she cares and adores you, I am sure she will return soon."
