Chapter 6: talks and secrets

Sideswipe was exhausted from all the fighting and flopped on his bed. "What have you done these days other than cutting yourself?" He asked curiously. "I bought a kitten for my cat, Bob," she said before sitting on her knees next to him.

"A kitten! What's his name! Or her!" He asked. "His name is Cyber, a brown tabby cat," she said showing a photo. "Who was with you?" He asked, seeing a shadow.
Skylar looked at the photo "you're brothers aren't that big," he said as he cocked his head to the side.

"And your stepfather doesn't have broad shoulders. "I would almost say it's Sunstreaker," he snorted. Skylar gave a sheepish smile "just a neighbor," she muttered. Sideswipe raised a brow. "I can smell you're nervous," he noticed with a frown. "It's nothing, just a neighbor," she stated.

The mech looked confused at her while she got up "what are you hiding!?" He asked suspiciously. "I'm not hiding anything!" She snorted. "Than why are you acting so strange!" He questioned, looking straight into her eyes.

Skylar was almost looking in Sunstreaker's eyes, guess it was in the family to have a gaze like this. Both brothers could be very intimidating. "I-... don't want my mom to find out," she hoarsely said. Sideswipe raised a brow "did you interface?" He asked slightly jealous and angry.

Skylar cocked her head to the side "did you mate, have sex!?" He asked, his voice slightly trembling. Skylar thought quickly, telling him Sunstreaker was with her while she promised him not to see him anymore, and probably ruining their friendship, or telling him she had sex with a neighbor she didn't even know...

"Uhm... yeah," she hoarsely said, and blushed, even she didn't do it. For a moment she saw the fury in his eyes, making his eyes turn red for a split second. He gritted his teeth "are you jealous!?" I asked.

Sideswipe sniffed and scowled under his breath before he turned his back towards her and fell asleep. Skylar sighed and headed towards the brig, Sunstreaker frowned. "What's wrong?" he asked as his holoform stalked over to the bars, staring at his energon stained frame "Sideswipe asked me what I did the last two days!" she mumbled before opening the gate.

Sunstreaker frowned and sat down next as his holoform appeared "And?!" he quietly asked. "I showed him a picture of Cyber... he loves him already!" she said, smiling. "But... he saw the shadow, didn he?" he asked as he took my phone and looked at the photo. "yeah..."

"What did you say?"

"He asked me if interfaced, cause I didn't want to tell him about it, and I said I did," Skylar whispered. "Skylar! You told him we interfaced!" he blurted, grossed out by the thought. "No... I told him it was a neighbor!" she grumbled.

Sunstreaker stated at her in disbelief. "He's jealous,"
"Sides is jealous?" He repeated in disbelief. Skylar nodded and saw even angry glance in Sunstreaker's eyes.

Sunstreaker P.O.V
It pissed me off for some reason, Sideswipe was allowed to be with her legally and I can only see her at nights while she's meaning more for me than I thought. She laid down, resting her head on my lap.

I softly rubbed her head "Streaker?" I looked down at her. "What did you do to the kitchen knife?" She asked. I moved a little and pulled it out of my belt. I softly pinched her, making her smile a little.

"You're not a bad mech..." she mumbled while closing her eyes. She fell asleep quickly and I stopped rubbing her head.

The next morning, I woke up Skylar, softly rubbing her head. She nuzzled in my stomach with a soft groan. "You better wake up," I mumbled. She looked up and sat upon my lap, nuzzling in my neck.
