Y/N's pov
I think Hermione saw us fighting because she quickly make her way towards us standing beside me.
"what's happening".She asked us looking concerned towards me taking my hands.
"like you care".Ron yelled at Hermione.
"Mione, let's go". I said squishing her hands not bother to eye contact with her.
"Y/N/N, no." Hermione said looking mad at Ron.
"I SAID HOW BOTH OF YOU ARE ENJOYING, ONE WITH OUR ENEMY AND ONE WHO DIDN'T BOTHER US TELL.ALL YOU TWO DID WAS LIE". Ron shouted at Hermione with this they got in heated fight, which ends with Hermione shouting, "Next time there's a ball, ask me before someone else does, and not as a last resort!" With this she ran away from Great hall leaving us there.
"Watch your mouth, before you speak anything RONALD WEASLEY". I said giving Ron a pissed look and left them there to find Hermione.
I walked out of Great hall and starts finding Hermione when I saw her crying in staircase, I quickly walked towards her, sitting beside her and embracing in a hug.she hugged me tightly while sobbing."Mione, hey don't cry."I said to her wiping her tears. while her head was in my shoulder I continued "Mione , he a douche bag, he is totally a MORON. If you want I can make him turn into a rat with the help of Professor Moody".
I said to her making her laugh which I guess helped because she'd laughed lightly."Y/N/N, thank you. don't worry I am fine. you don't have to do something like that". She said smiling at me as she continued "thank you for be with me".
"anything for my bestfriend". I said to her. We sat there for few minutes until we heard some footsteps coming towards us. We both turned our heads and saw Marcus.
Me and Hermione, we both turn our heads to find Marcus standing there.
"Hey,I was looking for you".he said to me as he continued "Is everything okay". He asked looking worried.
"Sorry, you guys didn't enjoyed the Yule ball because of me". Hermione said to us.
"Mione, it's not your fault okay". I said giving her reassuring smile.
"I think I should go back now, Y/N/N, I will be see you in our dorm". With this she gave one last hug and walked away.
"I saw what happened earlier, are you okay". He asked me looking concerned. I nodded my head.
"I don't wanna talk about it". I told him. He understands that so he didn't ask more questions about what happened. We walked back to the Great hall.
We saw only few students, Ginny and Neville were also still there dancing on some slow song. Marcus asked me for one last dance And I nodded . We make our way to dance floor and started dancing on slow song . I rest my head into his chest as he leaned his head in my hair. I just feel comfortable with him. He makes me feel safe.
