Y/N's pov
I quickly walked out of class and make my way to the dorm putting my bag down. "What was his problem." I thought to myself while sitting in bed, tears started running down from my eyes to cheeks. I was breathing heavily. This is too much.
I know I shouldn't cry over the words he said but harsh words fucking hurts. I was crying do hard that I didn't realise Hermione enter the door. I tried to remain silent but I guess she heard my sobbing that's why she quickly ran towards to me and sat beside me cupping her hands into my cheeks.
"What happened Y/N/N?" She said while removing my tears with her thumb. I told her everything what happened in class with Malfoy. She embraced me in a hug rubbing my back to calm down me.
"sssshhh, don't cry Y/N/N, don't mind his words. He is arrogent git, he is too blind to see that how beautiful you are, any guy would lucky to be with you."she said to me while giving a small smile as she continued."Do you find any dates?".
"Yes." I said to her smiling."who is-" before she asked some third years Gryffindor come to our door and Informed me that's someone is waiting for me outside our common room.
"strange,who would be" I thought to myself.
Me and Hermione both were confused and we stood up.I don't want to go alone so I asked Hermione if she'd accompany me. She nodded her head with that we make our way to the outside of common room.And we saw-
As we reached outside of the common room, We saw Marcus, there waiting for me. I greeted him with a smile and introduced Hermione to him. I asked him if everything is fine. He nodded his head and asked me if I have got a dress for Yule ball so that he can wear matching tuxedo with my dress. I shook my head side to side. But I told him the colour ( as you can the colour or the dress in above ) , as he was in Ravenclaw. So I thought something with that colour.
After few more minutes talk he give me a smile and walked to his house. When he left, Me and Hermione entered our common room and sat there.within a second Hermione started questions me"So you and him, hmmmmm, When did happen?". She said while wiggling her eyebrows to me.
"Mione, we're just friends, he asked me last night".I told her.
"Last night, but I didn't see you guys talking". She asked confusion written all over her face. So, I told her everything about last night how I couldn't fall asleep, how I met him there and how he asked me for Yule Ball. By the look of her face she seems pretty excited about that because she started squealing in excitement.People who were reading and talking all heads turns to our direction which causes my cheeks to turn dark shade of red. "Mione calm down, everyone is looking at us."I told her sighing.
