Next morning, it was second day. When I woke up, I saw a figure sitting in a chair beside my bed. I didn't recognise clearly who he was, as my eyes are still blurry from sleep. He was reading some book. I rubbed my eyes, while sitting in bed.
He's face was covered with a book, so I guess he didn't notice that I was awake now fully. I was observing him, how this person was so focused in his book.
"Y'know, Staring is rude", He said putting his book down in bed. "especially, when they are reading".
"Hey, I wasn't staring", I said in my defense. Marcus raised his eyebrows while giving me the look of "Are you sure" types."And how"s it rude".
"Because they can't Focus", he said looking at me, making eye contact with me."By the way, I want to say sorry about what happened that day. It's all my fault".
"It's not your fault. So,don't blame yourself about it", I said squishing his hand."Plus, can we not talk about it". He nodded his head while looking at my hand which was top of his hands. I notice a bit blush on his cheeks. I removed my hands from his and quickly apologies about that "I am sorry about this".
"It's fine", he said looking disappointed. We sat there in few minutes in silence.
"Umm- Do you have any idea if Harry, Hermione, Ron or anyone came here to visit me", I said hopefully. A part of me wants to know if Draco came to see me.
"No Y/N, Sorry to this but-.... your bestfriends didn't came here to check on you", he said while looking down on the floor. I was a little bit disappointed that my bestfriends didn't came to see me here. I know they are angry with me about, how I didn't told them about Draco and Me. But still atleast just for few seconds they'd come. Even they didn't atleast Draco also came here."But actually someone came before me-".
"I knew it, Draco would definitely come to see me. I knew he still loves me. What Mattheo told me last night was all lie. Next time if I met him. I am gonna prove him how Draco still cares for me", I thought in my mind. A small smile crept spread in my face.
"Who", I asked him cheerfully.
"Umm-", he said scratching his neck."It was... Zabini. Your one of other close friend from Slytherin".
After he said this my heart broke in million pieces. Draco didn't came to see me. He doesn't care about me. My overthinking express taking place in my mind slowly and slowly. But I quickly shook my head side by side stopping all the overthinking. Maybe he was busy with classes, that why he didn't came.
He quickly notice the sudden change in my mood, so he changed the subject and we talk about some other stuff, class.
Later, Madam Pomfery finally dismissed from Hospital wings. Marcus offered me to walk with me to my common room. I didn't deny his offer. His company was quite enjoyable. Its was weekend so there was no class. We are walking in corridors, talking and I took a quick glance at other people. Everyone, I repeat everyone was staring at me and whispering with each other.
